Meet Richard M. Slusher

Meet Richard M. Slusher. Richard, one of 26 doctors serving in war-torn Afghanistan, used to work on nagging injuries for the Cincinnati Bengals before saving lives thousands of miles away.

...the regular U.S. Army officer had his year in the field of dreams _ a break from normal Army duty for a sports medicine fellowship with the NFL football team and others in Cincinnati. Slusher loved it so much that after 17 years in the service he is planning to retire and go into a private sports medicine practice

Hopefully Slusher will be able to get back to the states and work on Bengals player's nagging injuries soon. Make sure you spend a few minutes reading this article.
