No Fine for Hines Ward
For those of you that thought Hines Ward's hit on Keith Rivers was, at least, a helmet-to-helmet hit, then you'd be at odds with the gods of the NFL. Adam Schefter writes that Ward won't be fined by the NFL, after the league reviewed the tape. Schefter went on to speak of Ward like God.
However, Schefter writes Ward hurt Rivers in the fourth quarter; which wasn't true. It was the fourth play of the game.

If Ward was Andre Caldwell and Rivers was Troy Polamalu, there would be a fine.
Oh well, hopefully Nduke will exact revenge.

Whats the mock drafts saying about the Bengals right now? I would love a run down of who they have us picking in the 2009 mock drafts, holla!

BlindSider
I bet Ward is also great at pulling wings off flys, drowning helpless puppies and tripping old ladies. Please never give Ward a law enforcement badge, he no doubt would shoot innocent people in the back. Man to man, Rivers destroys Ward in every form of combat. Maybe Ward will get even luckier next time and catch Rivers in his sleep.

Or perhaps a LINEBACKER looking to make a TACKLE should keep his head up and not get blocked by someone 30 pounds lighter than he. He should be EMBARRASSED.

Hmm...I'll tell you what.
Let me get somebody 30 pounds lighter than you, put a football helmet on him, and have that guy run full-tilt at you, then hit you, full-force, squarely in the jaw with the football helmet. We’ll see how $%&*ing embarrassed you are.

Mental Ward
If BostonYahoo thinks man to man Ward could have taken Rivers, he’s a mental Ward escapee. Each week a lot on NFL players get such opportunities for blind-side blasts. But only Ward and a few other cowards actually take it. Most players execute good hits without exploiting the situation. Head hunting a player looking somewhere else is the kind of thing that gets out-of-work Pittsburgh residents excited, but most real football fans see it for what it is.

You people are f*&^% insane
Get over yourselves Cincy. Go eat some crappy chili, start some race riots, and excuse yourselves from any conversation that requires rational, reasonable thought, for none is to be found on this board.

What You Don't See
What you don’t see is, his man-friend is wearing the “I’m With Stupid” t-shirt.

I'll be rooting for Baltimore
come December. If any defense can make Wards sorry he ever suited up, it’s Rex Ryan’s. That said, cheap but legal hit, doesn’t deserve a fine, Rivers should be more aware, and, flag/fine or no flag/fine, somebody should have flattened Ward in the immediate aftermath. Cheap shot, whatever, retaliation was definitely called for, otherwise our reputation as league punching bags is solidified. Ward’s a punk, a very talented punk.
