I don't know about you...

I can't help but express my relentless love for this team. We're losing, we're having our hearts cut out emotionally by close games turning into blowouts, Carsons out, Chads doing nothing, T.J. is in his last year here it seems, Rivers is out...but for some reason I can't get enough of it. I absolutely love this Bengals team. The Bengals have just wandered around the NFL this season losing close games to power house teams, taking the Steelers to the wire then suddenly 38 - 10? I'm enamored by this team. Cedric Benson lights me up when he carries the ball. Has it hit anyone yet that we got him? Has it hit anyone that Rudi and Willie are gone? I know deep down Bengaldom was sick of Rudi's boring running style that acted as a distraction instead of a part of our game plan. And for all you Rudi lovers out there, what has he done in Detroit with Kitna? 0 - 5...better than 0 - 7? Who the hell cares? I have compared Rudi to Adam Dunn for years now. They are the same talent. 1200 yards rushing, 40 homeruns...who cares when you're not winning. They were distractions to real team problems. Quick fixes if you may. Now the cards are on the table for the Bengals and in my opinion, this Bengals team is one of the most exciting I've seen in my young fanhood.

Man

You could take everything referencing the Bengals and replace it with Texans and it would make just as much sense… Hang in there bud. It makes the better times that much better. Looking forward to a badass shootout this Sunday. Good luck.

Dude

Your team hasn’t even existed as long as we’ve sucked. That’s sucked with a capital M-I-K-E-B-R-O-W-N, sucked.

Nice

I’m so fortunate to be blessed with the opportunity to interact with a person as regal as yourself “Shayes.” As I gaze into my memories vast and wide, neither a similarity nor a mere instance comes anywhere close to how much I appreciate you decorating my five minutes of time I get to spend on this computer each day. Your comments are so life changing…so imporant…so detremental to my well being and succesion in life that I thank you SHayes for adding such an insightful view on my fanpost. Please, for the love of god himself, don’t kill yourself and refrain from lying naked on your cold lonely floor each night pondering how your life could have/would have been. For the sake humanity and certainly this Bengals fanpost website, don’t harm overly positive self in any way shape or form….Because in that instance I don’t think I could have had the chance to marvel at your genius.

Thank you so much for your patronage to my life.

ps: Most people on this BENGALS website are big fans of the BENGALS. I find it hard to believe that you are surprised by my comments and find it neccessary to insult me. Go spread your negativity elsewhere. Us real Cincinnati fans are sick of the bandwagoners like you. Go root for New England or something you generic waste on society.

Thanks,

Scott

Good Post

Loved the post … great job of putting some things into perspective. Sometimes we can take all this stuff a little to seriously, and lose sight of the idea NFL Football should be about fun. Regardless of the Bengals’ status, I still enjoy watching football on Sunday, and look forward to the Playoffs, with or without our guys. Like with everything good, there’s always the bad, e.g., this SHayes jerk and some (not all) but a lot of screwed up Steelers fans.

I COULDNT AGREE MORE MAN, THIS YEARS VERSION OF "WAIT TIL NEXT YEAR" IS OUR BEST EVER

Just look, you could argue that all of the following players are legitimate Pro-Bowl candidates if the team comes back healthy:

1. Carson Palmer
2.Chad Johnson
3. T.J. Houshmanzadeh (if re-signed)
4. Leon Hall
5. Chinedum Ndukwe
5. Jonathan Joseph
6. Keith Rivers
7. Cedric Benson (if re-signed)
8. Chris Henry
9. Michael Oher (if drafted with first overall pick, or a different o-line impact player e.g. Monroe or Davis)
10. Andrew Whitworth
11. Ben Utecht
12. Marvin White
13. Antwan Odom or Robert Geathers
14. Shayne Graham (if healthy)
15. Domata Peko

Possible Arguments could be made for Andre Caldwell as our punt/kick return specialist, Pat Sims or Jasos Shirley as a DT, Anthony Collins as a OT, and Frostee Ruckers as a DE. As well as who they draft in the 2nd and 3rd round, remember 2005, there were strong arguments made for our 2nd and 3rd picks that year as legitimate pro bowlers (couple fellows named Odell and Chris Henry ring a bell?)

Imagine how many more could be on that list....

Imagine how many more defensive players you could have added onto that list if things went the bengals way…Odell Thurman, David Pollack, Landon Johnson, Kevin Kaesviharn(good player in my opinion), Ahmad Brooks (if he would have ever came around who knows but what could have been…), Deltha O’neal (good Vet to keep I.M.O) Ethan Kilmer (showed potential..and penn st. fan). Not to mention all the Offensive players on the O-line we lost, Rudi coulda still helped, he had something to prove this year here, not to mention our running back busts of the past few years…We’ve had the talent come through Cincinnati. Either this team is not developing them correctly or we just have bad luck with injuries and bad drafting<<.
