After scoring 17 points...

The Bengals forced…

7 plays, 14 yards… punt.
3 plays, 14 yards… fumble

And a one-play end of the half draw play.

Crowd noise was high, we’re pinned inside the five yard line. Don’t lose the game at that point of the game. Not justifying, just saying…

Blogger at CincyJungle.com -- SB Nation Cincinnati Bengals blog.

by Kirkendall on Oct 5, 2008 6:28 PM EDT reply reply actions actions   0 recs

What does that have to do with it?

Because it’s loud, you can’t run a play that’s designed to gain more than 3 yards? Really? In the NFL?

by Brian B on Oct 5, 2008 6:29 PM EDT to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

...

Most teams, when they’re pinned in like that, not at home, tend to run the ball up the gut to get yards so the punter has room.

We have a chance (this will be the last time I say this)

Stop the Cowboys here, use one of our two remaining time outs, force the field goal and have under two minutes to move down the field.

Why do they even suit those DBs up?

What do they do lafter the ball is snapped? Run around in circles until the whistle blows?

AWFUL.

As a said – the Bengals should have gone for 1 vs. 2.

Here's to another week of the Bengals not learning a damn thing.

Chris Perry will be back again getting pointless unproductive carries. They’ll continue running the same short outs, with Carson telegraphing every pass. And the Defense will continue to play entire game without a single blitz.

Oh wow.

That’s a first. They’ve been lining up in the neutral zone the entire game without it being called.

Pathetic.

THey played better. But they should have won. That’s the mark of a bad team, finding ways to lose games you should win.

Okay. I'm hoping for 0-16.

nothing will change unless it happens, and they’ll go another decade like this.

Why is anyone surprised they choked?

Perry’s fumble was the difference maker. Get rid of him. No, wait. Keep him. Go 0-16, and somebody PLEASE buy the team.

Um...I did.

You:
“You had me until "stop the Cowboys here.”

Kirkendall:
“Just watch, Brian. They’ll do it.”

Kirkendall:
“Oh god.”

See? Surprise!

NOT THEY, HIM

THEY didnt find a way to lose. PERRY found a way to lose. I hate the bum get rid of him. 5 fumbles in 5 games. I’d rather have Rudi.
