Schefter: Lewis is safe
Adam Schefter writes that Marvin Lewis' job appears to be safe in Cincinnati; and I couldn't agree more, not that I'm exclusive to sources. Schefter writes:
Very quietly, Bengals management has informed head coach Marvin Lewis that he is welcome to coach in Cincinnati as long as wants, according to a high-level Bengals source. It is as strong an indication to date that ownership has absolutely no plans to fire its head coach, certainly not now.
So, perhaps, for now, some websites can get over themselves for a while "claiming" sources that something is going to happen with Lewis. In fact, maybe others can stop with the dribble that they "know" a source, even use that rumored source as a "news", to actually provide a service that they claim to provide.

good
would any better candidate consider coming here….
Maybe we finally fire Brat, and Brown accidentally minimizes his stupid moves in the offseason

I'm pretty sure
This team would be 0-5 without Lewis coaching. Maybe Paul Brown or Tom Landry could eek out a win, but I doubt it.
The draft picks wouldn’t change much sans Lewis.
Brat may not be a bad coach, but it’s time for a change
Stength and conditioning seem to be issues; the lines are just not generating push on run blocking or pass rush.

strength and conditioning
Ghaicuic has been getting blown up by bigger nose tackles for 2+ years now. Why hasn’t the team made him put on 10-20 lbs? Maybe he would be decent
