Horrible Punt.

THis is why the Bengals lose. Penalty = bad field position, Offense drops a chance at a first down to keep drive going. Punter shanks one.

That was a bad series.

Bengals can’t gain yards lining up in a big formation. Benson loses two yards on a pitch. Bengals call run up the gut on second-and-12, pick up those two yards they lost setting up a third down.

After the Eagles were called for offsides, Chris Henry drops an easy pass that would have converted a first down.

The only way teh Bengals win this game is if they take advantage of gimmee like this...

and they get stopped on 2nd down and goal…

Third and Goal at the 2

Fitz, in shotgun, looks right and throws to Henry on a slant to the right. Nothing. He could have had that. Not sure if he should have had that. But he could have.

Bad throw by Fitz...

put that in the numbers it is a TD.

The game was just lost there.

That is a momentum destroyer there. Did you hear the fans booing?

They should be.

The FG was closer than a PAT formation. We’re 1-8. Go for it. If we don’t convert, the Eagles are in bad shape in terms of field position. If we make it, then we score a TD. Conservative isn’t applicable with the Bengals. We’ve got nothing (besides the game) to lose.

FG.

Is closer than a PAT.

That’s terrible. Should have had a FG on that last possession, but lost six billion yards on three plays. Should have had a touchdown there. After a first-and-ten at the one yard line, the Bengals kick a FG on fourth and two.

That’s a “should be” score of 10-0. But, it’s 3-0. And we’re 1-8.
