Houshmandzadeh Makes Good On Guarantee: Avoids 27 Mile Walk
Back in October, Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh guaranteed that the Bengals would not go 0-16 and even went out on a limb and said they would win at least two games. If the Bengals failed to win two games, Houshmandzadeh agreed to walk the 27 miles from his home in Cerritos, CA to the NFL Network studios in Culver City, CA. Needless to say, the Bengals defeated the Washington Redskins 20-13 on Sunday giving Cincinnati their 2nd win of the season (their record is 2-11-1). It's nice to see someone finally make good on a guarantee, even though this one doesn't quite rank up their with Joe Namath's guarantee is Super Bowl III. Just a thought, if the Bengals had tied a second game, would the two ties have counted as 1 win? Well...that's a moot point now. Anyways, congratulations T.J. you did something Chad Johnson, I mean Chad Ocho Cinco, could never do; make good on a guarantee.
