Heating Pad Only

Sadly, no hot seat for Marvin. These writers and blog posters don’t know Mike Brown. While Lewis should be feeling lots of extreme heat, at best he’s on nothing more than heating pad … set on low. Very low. I fear the team will waste Palmer’s careeer on an ill-faded Lewis era.

Ain't happening

Injuries, off-field incidents and more injuries have been more to blame for Marvin’s inability to field a top-5 defense than any kind of “coaching ineptitude.” IMHO (and the even more HO of Chefs fans I know), Herm ought to be feeling the heat on both cheeks before Marvin starts worrying about anything. If Marvin ever leaves, it’ll be because he finally becomes fed up with a locker room full of malcontents who don’t get the team concept.

think 5 years is enough time to build a defense? That’s an eternity in NFL years. Other head coaches have done it in far, far quicker time. In fact, haven’t his Ds actually gotten worse every year? Yeah, I guess I can buy the injury thing, to a point … but D injuries weren’t really a major issue until last season. And aren’t most of those malcontents his Draft picks?
