Can't wait to watch Bengals safeties in sophomore seasons
The man that goes by the name "Big C" (we hope the "C" stands for Carlos) has done a great job for the Dayton Daily News; gearing up a positive review on individual players. "Big C" chronicles Marvin White: "White is a player who will bring his A-game every day."
Last season White was mostly under the shadow of fellow rookie safety, Chinedum Ndukwe, who picked off Derek Anderson twice in the Bengals 19-14 win over Cleveland (he also recorded 12 tackles). Ndukwe finished the season with three picks and two sacks -- pretty impressive for a partial-playing time rookie. Even so, White started for an injured Madieu Williams in three games -- including an eight-tackle performance against the Miami Dolphins. The week before (against Cleveland), White deflected three passes.
White is projected to start opposite Dexter Jackson when the season kicks off.

secondary
i am very excited about our secondary. I think we could see some exciting ball hawking action this year as the young unit begins to gel. Of course, a lot of it depends on the ability of the front 7 to get some pressure. But if we see any improvement up front, we could see a lot of overall improvement in the pass defense. White could have a break out year.

Bengals should be much better defending the passing game which will help them prevent the big play.
