Breaking down Rivers' base salary

Keith River's six year deal includes guaranteed money of $23 million (if the contract maxes out). In terms of just his base salary, Rivers will receive $4,585,000 through the length of the contract; broken down as follows:

2008 - $295,000
2009 - $385,000
2010 - $810,000
2011 - $1,235,000
2012 - $1,660,000
2013 - $2,000,000
