Maurice Purify under house arrest
As per the PFT boys, Bengals practice squad player, wide receiver Maurice Purify will serve a week under house arrest after breaking his probation.
Former Husker Maurice Purify will spend a week on house arrest after pleading no contest Tuesday to violating probation.
The 22-year-old started serving the year-long probation in July 2007 for assault, disturbing the peace and hindering arrest May 5, 2007, and a DUI on June 8, 2007.

also, they signed a veteran corner. Hopefully this in response to the poor play of D. Jones, not the health of the J. Joseph.

all things considered,
David Jones did alright for his first pro football game last Sunday. So did Simeon Castille, who I think will eventually be the number three corner. Jamar Fletcher was a badass, shut down corner at Wisconsin but has had a pro career beset by injuries and inconsistent play. He probably is an attempt to make up for the bonehead move of cutting Deltha O’Neal and making Jones the number three in the first place. Also, why the hell can’t a safety- Dexter Jackson- play with a broken thumb?
