Jeremi Johnson on IR - Done for the Season
Mark Curnutte writes that the Bengals put Jeremi Johnson on season-ending Injured Reserve today after injuring a knee during Monday's practice. I totally missed this and didn't read any reports about injury, or otherwise, about our full back. Johnson is signed through 2011 expected to make base salaries of $950,000 in 2008, $1 million (2009), $1.1 million (2010) and then $1.4 million (2011) afterwards.
Anyway, that brings the roster one man short and assures Daniel Coats as the team's starting full back.

should have cut him when he came in fat
I wonder how much his lack of conditioning coming in- and the subsequent boot camp to get there- contributed to this injury? Coats’ll be alright, Kelly’s lined up at fullback before. Now, bring back Eric Henderson!

rumor has it
from a dolphin blogger, indirectly, that we may have signed former Dolphin starter Reagan “”http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HpiMUKfSKIQ" target="new">Juggernaut" Mauia, a second year fullback from Univ. of Hawaii. Apparently, he can’t really catch, has a penchant for assault, but can shit can anybody in front of him.
As to the video, sheetrock isn’t very hard to penetrate. Sorry, Juggernaut. I think I’d rather have former English footballer/thug, Vinnie Jones at fullback.

Did you notice that the part of the wall he ran through seemed already cut out?
When he broke through it, a perfectly shaped door frame appeared. LOL

Though I like the X-Men 3 reference
“I’m the juggernaut, bitch.”
