And the Bearcats defense is low to set.

Completed a pass underneath, in the flats, and he breaks out with a bad angle of pursuit by the safety for a big gain. On the next play, Oklahoma completed a 27-yard pass for a touchdown. Shit.

Ran seven plays, 88 yards in 1:42.

Jacob Ramsey rushes twice for over 10 yards and the first down. Both times, UC in shotgun.

After an incomplete, and a one-yard loss by John Goebel, Grutza is sacked after a bad job picking up the blitz.

15-yard run by Brown.

Protection by the Sooners offense is flawless, and the Bearcats aren’t defending the underneath passes. With no one close, the Sooners receivers have wide open space for big yards.

On third down, Oklahoma easily scores another touchdown on a simple out route by the in-most slot receiver.

After three possession in the game (2 by Oklahoma, 1 by UC):

After that, it was a no-gain rush, an incomplete, and then a blown up running play forcing Grutza to rush up the middle for five yards.

Bearcats go for it on fourth down. Grutza was forced out of the pocket in shotgun, scrambled to the right and threw a missile to the WR on the right sidelines, about a yard short — it was a really bad spot, I thought.

In both passing plays (with a minimal gain rush), UC hit Bradford pretty good forcing two incomplete passes — the second hit jolted the pass.

But a sack that lost good yardage, forced the Bearcats on a long third down. Bearcats punt after returning to the line of scrimmage on the third down play.

Brandon Underwood intercepts Sam Bradford’s pass — overthrown and returns the pick over a mile. Problem is the Bearcats are called for illegal block and back to the 18-yard line.

Quick WR screen to the left, to Mardy Gilyard, picks up 57 yards,

Bearcats in shotgun, no backs, looks to throw it and then takes off — designed QB draw — and goes for eight yards. One yard short of the first down.

And UC is starting to rebound after a nearly disasterous start.

Bearcats have rushed 13 times for 17 yards — keep in mind, sacks are included in rushing yardage.

CONVERTED. Grutza, in shotgun, runs to the right and then throws back across the field and completes the pass to tight end Adrien Robinson.

After a minimal run, the statue of liberty (one yard gain), setting up a third-and-goal around the five-yard line. Empty backfield, Grutza in shotgun, slightly rolls to the left and hits Ramsey (RB) and the Bearcats are stopped at the one-yard line.

The Bearcats line up, fourth-and-goal, and Grutza sneaks into the endzone.

Murray (Oklahoma RB), rushes for 10 yards, Bradford completes a 40-yard pass to Iglesias, Brown rushes for 11, Clapp takes a pass 11 yards and Brown runs, untouched, into the endzone from one-yard out.

Takes the ball 62 yards to the Oklahoma 33-yard line.

Grutza completes a 22-yard pass to Gilyard. Great pass protection!

Grutza, forced to roll out to the left, forces a pass, across his body, into the end zone. Bad decision. Should have just thrown the ball away.

DeAngelo Smith hits the WR, forcing the deflected pass to Jones who intercepts the pass. WOOT.

After a pass interference, the Bearcats go seven yards on a rush, and a short first-down reception by Gilyard.

Then they go shovel pass to Goebel (three yards), then fake handoff QB draw by Grutza to the 30 yard line — added a personal foul face mask.

On first down, at the 15-yard line, Grutza throws a nice pass to the back right pylon to Dominick Goodman for a TOUCHDOWN.

Then Yingling hits the upright and misses the PAT.

After a first down reception (11 yards or so), the Sooners pass for two yards, and then incomplete.

Third and eight. And then Oklahoma snaps the ball and hits Bradford in the left thigh. He jumps on the ball, setting up a fourth down.

UC calls a timeout with 1:14 left in the second.

At the 20-yard line.

Grutza hits Goodman on a DEEP Pass. While he was running down the sidelines, the ball is punched out and Oklahoma recovers the fumble.

Ball is dead. And UC keeps the ball, tack on the personal foul.

- Quick WR screen picks up about seven yards by Gilyard.
- Grutza is nearly sacked, throws the ball out of bounds and they don’t call intentional ground.
- Third and three. Quick pass to the flats to Goodman, but surrounded by OU and the Bearcats are forced to punt.

I’m bouncing between ND, UC and yardwork. Every time i turn to UC, they are getting blown up and manhandled. I’m surprised the game is this close.

Fun first half, OU started fast and good, but then UC came up with turnovers. A few plays going the other way (interception in the endzone, personal foul on the last drive, make the PAT), and the Bearcats could, at least, have this game tied.

UC, as a team, have rushed 19 times for 39 yards — several sacks in cluded.

Chris Brown and DeMarco Murray (OU’s top RBs) have rushed 15 times for 84 yards and a Brown TD.

Marshwan Gilyard has seven receptions for 119 yards.

Total yards: OU 275 yards, UC 245 yards.

After an incomplete, and a four-yard QB draw, Grutza (empty backfield, in shotgun), throws a bad pass to his left behind the line of scrimmage to Goodman, for a four-yard loss.

A sloppy drive by Oklahoma, several penalties, a fumble that was recovered, ended with a Sam Bradford touchdown pass to Iglesias.

Bradford sneaks up the middle. They are sustaining on this drive.
