I'm Done
I'm not "quitting" because of the outcome of one game. I'm quitting because we all saw this coming...this is the culmination of several years of futility and utter embarrassment.
1. Mike Brown should be forced to give up ownership of that team.
2. Marvin should resign. He's too good of a person to have to deal with this B.S.
3. That offensive line has ZERO pride. (4th and inches...4th and ballgame?) ...pathetic.
4. That game was the most painful thing I've ever watched as a Bengals fan.
Fans in this city should all protest. We should burn our season tickets...we should NOT spend our hard earned dollars supporting a team that clearly is makng no effort to put together a good product for their fans, it's comsumers.

RE:
I see (and agree) on your points John. But, on the other hand…
1) not going to happen
2) if he does, someone will replace him, with the same front office infrastructure in place.
3) pride, and they just basically have no heart or will, and it probably a couple of receivers thinking contract during their offseason that they didn’t prepare (or don’t care for) the regular season.
4) Yea, no doubt
The point is the same. PBS is selling out, Brown is making money, so what’s the incentive? And I’m not going to dictate a boycott, or any of that, because there’s just people that enjoy hanging with friends, tail-gating and all that. Personally, being that we lost a bad game on Paul Brown’s birthday, makes us wonder again why the son of Paul Brown doesn’t show an ounce of pride.
At the same time, I’m not letting the coaches or the players off the hook on this one either. Everyone under the banner of Bengals employment shouldn’t get paid this week, and not until they at least show they want to be apart of an NFL franchise.

Fans have no leverage
I am the reason Mike Brown hurts us year after year. I have season tickets. I will go to the game next week. I will wear Orange. I will hope for a good outcome. I will watch the Bengals play predictably poor.
My son put on a new long sleeve T the other day. It was orange, had a bengal tiger on the front, and had the word Palmer on the back with a big 9.
My business territitory includes Pittsburgh. I love the customers there. Could I jump teams? Will I actually wear Black and Gold before the season is out? I didn’t grow up here. I grew up in St. Louis with the football Cards. I have no interest in the Rams. This is not my home town. I can abandon Mikey and this awful mismanaged mess. The Bengals are going to leave town in a few years anyway.
The job of team management is to put the coaches and players in a position to win. Mike only cares about his bottom line. The disrespect this shows to hall of famer Paul Brown is sickening.

No leverage?
Sure we do. After about 20 beers by duplex mate and I were leverage a Steeler fan halfway over a lower deck railing before being tackled by Baltimore’s finest. I think the Steeler fan had to post bail.

re
As a life long fan from NJ, i really don’t know to make of this mess. All i i read every where is, how the management dosent really care. Do you think Paul Brown hears any of the views of the the people or do you think he just disregards them? do you really think they will leave town?

Paul Brown Cares
Brown has been waiting for your advice and needs you to call him asap. He is not about the money at all and truly only cares about your well being. The truth is the Bengals should stay in Cincy, remain mediocre and ensure that the Raven’s never finish last. I would appreciate that. Besides, I’m waiting for the Bengals to make baggy tiger stripped weight lifting pants from the 1980’s part of their uniform. Until then they must stay put. Sorry.

Hard earned money in Cincinnati?
Hahahahaha. What the hell. Doesn’t everyone just punch in at the same factory, take a nap and leave when the night janitor bumps them with his mop? I thought tickets where allocated in Cincy like an Ethiopian food drop. Anything to keep the peace. Well, let me tell you.. In Baltimore, we pack the lunch box, kiss our wives goodbye and then wait until they return home from work to get our dinner ready. Man are you guys slow. Poor Marvin Lewis carried the greatest BS coach on his back in Baltimore and then gets repaid by landing the coaching job at Wonka’s factory. I saw the Loompas roll your line off the field at the end of the game. Tell Marvin to keep burping and it will be okay or at least .500.
