"If I ever find a pitcher who has heat, a good curve, and a slider, I might seriously consider marrying him, or at least proposing." - Sparky Anderson
No Tank
That sucks Tank isn’t active. The DT rotation has been crucial to the 4th quarter strength.
Sims needs a big game
Well boys, WHO DEY!
I’ll be very scarce today, our closing performance is at 3 with a 2 o’clock call. Will be keeping tabs on my iPhone as much as possible, but obviously won’t be able to while on stage. lol
Gaither out
Geathers and Odom need a take advantage of the people playing out of position
WHO DEY!
Gotta get the radio fired up here shortly, since they’re showing Browns/Bills here in NW Ohio

Don't really agree.
I think he’s getting some undue blame. He’s been good.
Leon Hall might be getting too much credit too, I feel like I’ve seen him give up some big plays too.
We have to remember our safeties and 3rd corner suck. David Jones should be back today, which should be nice. Ndukwe will be out thuogh.
I agree, Hall and Crooker have been doubling teams #1 and Hall has been left on an island with their #2. But if J Jo plays better, then the D goes to another level.
It will be interesting to see how the secondary plays. We’ve shut down teams deep threats, but Baltimore’s best receiver, Mason, is a possession receiver.
Also, Duke is active
Oh. I guess I don't read well.
He’ll probably be hampered.
Mason has been dangerous down the field this year, I’m curious to see how the passing matchup goes.
I think we can score on these guys
I hope we can contain them. Their Offense is very balanced. Last year they just ran all over us. I think they will try to put a premium on the run because Oher is playing L Tackle instead of right and the guy they’re putting on the right side (name?) is huge/better suited for run than pass protection.
They've been gashing teams on the ground.
But KC and Oakland are 2 of those teams and we’ve really been good against the run all year.
I think, as we have in the past, we match up very well with this Ravens team and I’m hopeful, especially given their O-Line turbulence.
The Ravens will have to change things to really put a thumper on us.
They’ve been less aggressive and less exotic in the blitzing game and they’ve gotten less pressure on the quarterback when blitzing this year without Rex Ryan.
I think the o will have a good game
if they don’t force the run- but pick their spots-you know throw to set up the run and get manageable 3rd downs. Also no turnovers! I’m not discussing STs-let’s just pray.
I think we can run it down their throats on the right side.
I’m excited to see if the right side of the line gets the same kind of push we’ve seen them inflict so far this season.
I’d really like to see the Special Teams step it up this week and set the tone. I’ve always thought Simmons was a good ST coach, but this year has me questioning that.
LOL
CBS has the Raiders’ keys to victory as “A Touchdown Would Be Nice”
We definitely need points, but a TD would be great.
Setting the tone against this D is huge and hopefully the offense can sustain success in the 2nd and 3rd quarter this week.
I don’t like how slow we’re taking it. Lots of time between snaps.
Ravens on their heels, take a timeout.
Easily moving the ball with Chad so far. Cedric has been OK, and the o-line has kept pressure off Palmer on 80% of the snaps so far.
Bengals are also tied for the best Red Zone offense in the league this year!
Let’s finish this drive off, boys.
this is where some say brat aint to blame
would say the ravens aint looked shocked by any play call this series
and that's preety much it
for Brad St. Louis, on this team anyway
Are you kidding me
St Louis can suck it

Is anybody surprised?
really? thats on the coaching staff letting this fucking loser stay on the team
Defense put in a bad spot.
Can’t leave points on the field, jesus, that’s just awful. Even with the bad snap, the hold was down and the kick was bad. It all starts with the snap, of course, but Shayne can have his walking papers too.
he can have his walking papers
if he starts seeing some good snaps. With timing everything on placekicking, you can’t conclude anything about the placekicker without acceptable snaps.
I agree with you there
We should have released Graham instead of tagging him

Also, the Bengals need to be more agressive...
2 runs inside the 20 against the ravens when the pass was clearly working…thats just coward playcalling
las vegas
needs to start carrying an over/under line on BSL. how many points he will cost us each game. over/under would be 3
this is phenomenal
the production team is ready with a highlight reel of bad BSL snaps. that might be a red flag mikey boy.

we better get new coaches

Missed tackles everywhere.
No pressure yet. Need to step up here at some point, they’re tick-tacking down the field.
How about sending a blitz?
Bengals D playing scared
have been for weeks
and i dont see the bengals with a fix in the works yet either. they’ve made no moves to start acclimating a replacement yet. which means no real solution for St Loser for at least 2-4 games more.
I wanna know what Lewis plans on doing after St. Louis muffs the snap on the first try next week too.
He just acts like there’s no problem and has no plan B.
Bengals gotta have an emergency
long-snapper in case St. Louis gets hurt, right?
Guess what, it’s an emergency, bench that scrub for the rest of the game. He’s done!
My fantasy football team this year? Lippincott's Shorts
Can't Cook do the snapping on a FG attempt? If he has been a center before he had to do it at some point
ive never seen a 10 year vet implode like this before
I’d say there’s a BSL Halloween costume somewhere by the end of the month.
"I have found me a home"
what was our plan for long snapping
is St. Louis were injured? Does anyone know?
JOSEPH takes points away! Pro-bowl form with his 3rd pick!
4th pick of the year for Flacco. What a play!
In the past it's been "He can cover and not catch"
Is it all coming together? Baltimore hasn’t had any WR open.
Our D
Has the longest streak of not allowing a TD to start the game in the league…
Where is that chick blogger
that came onto Cincy Jungle after the Pittsbughrg game. She was defending BSL.
2 long drives in the first quarter, no points.
0-0 after one! Bengals offense having no problems yet. Here come the scary 2nd and 3rd quarters.
seriously
if we are down in the red zone again and it’s 4th down do we just go for it?

Why is Benson suck a shifty runner?
And why does he do it on draw plays when the play requires you to hit the hole before the defense sees that it’s a run?
Palmer is just horrible
the same pick he threw to Woodson. Exactly the same play
i dont get it
Carson has a cannon for an arm and he telegraphed that one, big time.
might be useful to look off the safety, C
"I have found me a home"
You guys are bad fans.
Quarterbacks are trained to throw over the blitz. The Ravens always run that play where they keep extra coverage hely on the same side as the blitz. Palmer needs to recognize it, but that’s a mistake a lot of players make. The penalty is the reason we were fucked in the first place.
Remember he threw a strike to Henry for 20 that was a net -30 yard penalty on the hold.
"Palmer sucks" is not being critical, it's being cynical.
“Palmer made a bad mistake, and should have recognized the overloaded coverage on the blitz side” is criticism.
But aren't QBs trained to throw over the blitz to shorter routes?
Why is he throwing that far down field? the blitz read should be a quick hook or slant.
Don't you know punts give the other team 7 points..
wait….What?

I can;t see the game
I’m ion portland, adn they;re showing the giants beating up Oakland for some reason instead of this game
not sure why or when it happened
cincinnati became a 2nd half team in 2009. we pretty much blow goats on offense the first half all of 2009 (so far).
NYG 21 Oak 0
Manning has 7 completions including ones of 55, 43, and 30 yds
"I have found me a home"
Would be huge to answer, and abysmal to not finish this drive off.
Can’t settle for 3 after a big play. Need to finish drives and make up for that mistake.
What's he waiting for?
You’re stuffing 5 receivers into the end zone and you’re waiting for someone to get open?
He shoudl have read the blitz
he didn’t. Why do you love Carson so much?
by pedro_oliveira on Oct 11, 2009 1:51 PM EDT up reply actions
I agree with you
I just think the coaches have his head in the wrong place. They’ve got him reading plays too slowly, not using his instincts, and not giving him viable check down options.
"but he makes chicken salad"
wtf was that?

How did Henry get caught from behind?
He’s supposed to re superfast
htf
do they manage to make 1 look that easy. when they’ve struggled all year. huber and st loser should have to run laps around the benches during game time.
if he was on the field more
he might have. with his under-use, he’s a little rusty. colds needs to be demoted to 4th wr. henry to 3rd and caldwell to 2nd.

love big willie
and miss him on the team. if brown had any respect for his players, he’d have found a way to add willie to the staff in some capacity this season. lord knows the scouting dept could use some help.
+1
slim and caldwell should be out there

One will go up at the half.
Josh isn’t here, so I’ll put a new thread up. But I won’t be doing analysis because I’m just not that good ;)
its all about jim anderson in cincy
he knows running backs. in jim we trust, he says you’re done. you’re done. he believes in you, we believe in you.
palmer had no business throwing it deep to coats
coats aint that good. when in his time here has he ever let anyone believe he could catch anything over 15 yards?
thanks
coates has a sum total of 22 receptions in his career. his entire career. and 0 for a td.
so if you think that its crazy not to throw a deep bomb to that guy, then its crazy.
i believe it was a bad choice by palmer. he had had percentage guys open on shorter routes. think he panicke, heard footsteps and heaved it to the guy he was looking at.
Coats must have thought it was getting deflected, but you have got to focus and catch the ball.
There’s 24 points left on the field
he never has in his entire career.
has 0 td receptions. and never has averaged more than 10 yards a catch ih his career.
Get your blocking together Coffman...
We need that catch.
Steve Tasker.
Obnoxious that CBS sends this terrible team for “the game of the week” as they call it
looked like the ball popped out a split second b4 the knee...
tough to overturn
Wow
the announcers have no idea what its going on in this game. Bengals challenging. I hope they don’t see a knee down. this could backfire.
Gotta love officials
wanting Baltimore to be the division leader
we have plenty of time
as long as we’re getting positive yards
plus it was before the 2 minute warning
by pedro_oliveira on Oct 11, 2009 2:15 PM EDT up reply actions
Between the 20s, yeah.
And the Raven’s offense isn’t doing jack. Need to score before the half, and we can’t make any more throws to Ed Reed.
true that
no points by ravens offense, and they took 7 away from us

Benson
has really earned his keep today against a very good run D. OL too.
i think our monster o-line helps
suspect on pocket protection, but we have some major beef on the field. close to the biggest average offensive line size in the nfl this yr
Pick-6, fumble after a 20 yard catch, missed FG
that’s why we’ll always be the bungles
Ed Reed is an excellent player.
And that was a good defensive play. I’m upset, but that doesn’t mean this team sucks.
Watchin the detroit steeler game...
unfortunately….steelers are really looking bad…but they tend to beat teams they should. Refs called two bad roughing the Ben penalties….very ticky tacky.
Bengals are still in this one.
I bet those longs snappers they brought in for tryouts are loving this. lol.
I'm not going to mad about anything this game
As long as we have a chance to win this late in the fourth quarter, I’ll be fine.
