The celebration of the life of Vikki Zimmer was Tuesday on Mount Adams at Holy Cross Immaculata Church, A very sad day for the team Mom. Every Cincinnati defensive player, most of the Bengals offense, and all the New Orleans Saints linebackers came to the funeral, wow! Mike Zimmer chose three of his defensive stars to be pallbearers for his wife Vikki, Safety Roy Williams, DT Domata Peko, and Linebacker Dhani Jones. Sean Payton, the Saints head coach also made the trip. Marvin Lewis spoke at the funeral as well.  A sad day, Vikki Zimmer, May you  Rest In Peace.

head coach Marvin Lewis told the church when he eulogized her with Isaiah 41:10  (“Fear thou not; for I am with thee ... I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness”) and reminded her three children that they now had an extended network of aunts and uncles they could call at any time.

 

Rebecca Bratkowski hurt badly Tuesday. But she was able to smile, too.
