Redskins dumpster dive for a new OT
Levi Jones is no longer unemployed. The Lions and the Packers have both worked out Levi Jones since he became a free agent. Both teams passed on Jones without making him an offer. After losing left tackle Chris Samuels to a potential season ending neck injury, the Redskins felt Levi Jones was the best tackle to fill the new hole on their depth chart.
No details of Levi Jones new contract are available. The contract's value probably isn't in the ballpark of what Cincinnati paid Levi during his 30 million dollar deal in Cincinnati.

Dumpster Dive?
Dude, just cause he’s no longer a Bengal, that doesn’t make him a scumbag.

euphemism
more concise than using “retired and unwanted” or “over-priced and under-worked.” wish him the best of luck, when the packers who are desperate for a tackle passed on jones with offering him a contract, it pretty much summed up what other teams think of how much levi has left in the tank.
danny of the skins ownership isn’t afraid to throw many at over the hill veterans. under synder, washington has become the financial graveyard where over-priced veterans go to cash out their careers.
amazing how 2 words, can sum up 2 paragraphs of detail in 12 letters.
it was never suggested he’s a “scum bag.” nor does it have anything to with levi no longer wearing stripes. he’s on the last stop of his career. that’s all. in the place where veterans go to get their last decent paycheck on the way out of the game.
packers correction
