Chad Is Making the Bye Week Rounds
It's been a couple of weeks since I made a Chad-related post, but with the bye week on hand, there's plenty to talk about. Speaking of, what will you be doing this Sunday when the Bengals aren't playing? Catching up on housework? Mending that fence your significant other has been dogging you about? Going outside? Whatever it is, ask yourself this: Will I be as busy as Chad Ochocinco will be? Doubtful.
Here's part of his itinerary, which should rack him up a decent amount of frequent flier miles:
Thursday morning, Ocho will be on ESPN's First Take, debating the host everybody loves to hate, Skip Bayless, followed by an appearance on Colin Cowherd's radio show. After that, Chad will be be on The David Letterman Show, where he will undoubtedly be discussing, among other things, his new book, which promises to give everyone who buys it the finger.
If not two.
On Sunday, Ocho will be a guest on CBS' The NFL Today pregame show. I, for one, can't wait to watch Chad, Shannon Sharpe and of course Boomer "St." Esiason discuss all things Bengals.
So yeah, the life of a popular NFL player can get pretty damn busy, although, I'm sure it's the type of busy we'd all enjoy. Oh, there's one more thing I wanted to share with you: Chad has peculiar tastes in music, something one of his endless amount of Tweets tells us:
Just went and grabbed Brian McKnight,Rick Ross (triple c),Creed, Micheal Jakson (this is it) and Lil boosie albums, jammin n the locker room
Wait a minute. Did he just say "Creed?" Are you kidding me? The same Creed fronted by Scott Stapp? Um, yeah. I didn't expect that one.

In America is my favorite Creed song
Other than that most of their songs wore out on my pretty quick. They were huge when I was in high school with all the “cool” kids and I never have really followed trends.
Yea I remember......
when their first CD my own prison was out, I asked friends; you like Creed? and they say who? now they get all mainstream, I hate that

Chad's obviously back in the media's good graces
and as for this sunday I will be coaching my son’s pee wee football team in their first round playoff game!!!
Thanks
I’m actually pissed, we were 7-1 and got screwed out of 1st seed on a coin flip a COIN FLIP!!! Ridiculous.
That's how they determine who gets the ball to start the game
Is that Ridiculous too? It’s Pee Wee football how ridiculous can it be.
you have never been to a little league game have you?
the parents go nuts at those things….i’ve seen more fights at pee wee and little league games than anything else

Oh I've been to little league games
And I have seen first hand how ridiculous parents can be at those games. That is my point, these kids are 8 or 9 years old lets teach them how to respect the game and each other at a young age instead of living or dying by how their Pee Wee team performs. Save the fist fights for High School!
I mean come on, In Pee Wee every team has one kid who is a beast and the rest of the kids are just kinda wondering around the whole time anyway.
Agreed
Alot of parents think their kids are great, and alot of kids think they are grreat. Funny. I’m alone in the fact that I want to teach kids basic fundamental football at an early age. Blocking and tackling all day as far as I’m concerned. The last two coaches that ran the offense spent more time working on hurry up and spread formations than they did teaching leverage and how to stay on your blocks.
Chris!!!
Nice job on intentional foul, i like.

Tru that
It was a mess, 3-wat tie for first which each team beating each other. It’s all good tho. the #1 seedd is a team we beat and the team we’re playing in round 1 is the team that beat us so we’ll see if the (not-so) little guys get a chip on their shoulder
I recommend...
Watching a Hard Knocks marathon during the time the Bengals would usually be playing on Sunday. Those are my plans.
this Sunday: spending some time with some real cheese heads
Gonna go to my fiancee’s uncle’s house and watch Favre vs. Packers with a bunch of future family. Probably gonna get some scowls for week 2 when our boys in stripes took charge @ Lambeau!
