Carson Palmer AFC player of the week
He was deserving of the award after his great 5 td performance against the Bears last Sunday. Although you could make the argument that Cedric Benson could have won it also with his career day against his former team. Now if only we could play a complete game like that every week and not try and give Bengal fans heart attacks with these last minute games. After this taste of winning and finally some good PR, I think we can expect great things from our Cincinnati Bengals and I think I can speak for everybody in here and say its about time!!
Hobson writes....Sights and sounds of a bye week practice Wednesday morning inside Paul Brown Stadium:
Quarterback Carson Palmer, named AFC Offensive Player of the Week for the second time in his career earlier in the day, was holding a blocking bag at middle linebacker early in practice…It is Palmer’s first league recognition since he was named AFC Player of the Month in September of 2005
Palmer is now 6-0 against the NFC North with 20 touchdowns and six interceptions and has thrown at least three touchdowns in every game…
