Who-Dey In Chicago
I saw there was a calling for all Who-Dey Fans in NYC and thought I'd share an experience I had this past Sunday in Chicago while in town on business...
My wife, who used to live in Lincoln Park, just sort of casually mentioned to me that she thought there was a bar near where she used to live -- KENDALL's by the way -- that had a lot of Bengals fans show up on Sundays, and that I might want to check out the Browns / Bengals game there.
Great call by my wife.
I showed up about 10 minutes prior to kickoff and had I not known I was in Chicago, I might have thought I was in Tina's. This place was packed with Bengals fans. I'd guess 10 large projection screens and several flat screens. Great beer prices...and literally hundreds of fellow Bengals fans to cheer with. (I'd say 8 screens showed the Bengals...and the other 2 showed the Bears)
I had to say that I was literally moved by the experience. It's awfully nice to be so far away from home yet still be surrounded by your own kind.
If you are ever in Chi-Town on a Sunday during football season, you'd be doing yourself a disservice by not watching the Bengals at Kendall's.

I was there
Good times. Long drive home to Cincy afterwards, though.
