Making fun of people's appearance really isn't that funny.
Big Ben crashing through a windshield without a helmet that is funny. Him being a rapist that is funny. Every off season he gets himself into some type of shenanigans.
As for Polamalu, I hate the Steelers, but he is the one player on their team I respect. Great player who carries himself that way on and off the field. Those commercials are funny and I don’t mind them.

Can I ask a serious question...
And believe me, I’m not trying to troll around here, I just have to ask.
I have always stood by the fact that Carson’s knee injury in the playoffs a few years ago (which happened on the field) wasn’t funny, nor is it jokeworthy material. I would have much rather played a full strength Bengals team and risk a loss, then play a team whose a man short and win. That said, how do you find it funny that Ben Roethlisberger almost died? I mean really, fan hood aside, the man almost lost his life. I wouldn’t wish that on any player, from any team. It’s just not right. The rape allegations, I hold off judgement on until court precedings end. But I believe, and I am on the BTSC record saying, if he is found guilty he should be penalised to the extent of the suit.
I understand as fans there is this imaginary line we aren’t supposed to cross, we’re not supposed to be friends here, but I just don’t understand the pure, unadulterated hatred of the opposing teams players. I admit, I’ve made a few jokes from time to time about the Bengals, but I don’t ever, ever wish harm on opposing players, nor would I ever relish in any kind of injuries that may happen to them (on or off the field). I have a lot of respect for the Bengals. I picked them as a sleeper team in the division this year, but didn’t expect a one year turn around like you’ve had. It’s remarkable. And I like it. I like the competition. I don’t like losing (twice) to you, but I love the fact that there is a viable, strong, and competitive team that we get to test our strengths against twice. It makes our teams better, both of them.
Again, not trying to argue, but please, just help me understand how any of those things can be “funny”.
