Caution
I loved sitting at a local predominantly "Steeler's Bar" and rooting for my Bengals and laughing at the drunk and stunned steeler mill-hunks crying in their towels. They didn't know what hit them. They were certain their quarterback.........what's his name???...........was going to run onto the field in the last 2 minutes and drive them to a win. I laughed my ass off watching him throw 4 incompetions. He couldn't hit the side of a barn.
The only thing that worries me is that our asses were saved by some bad officiating calls that went our way, and that Polamolu only played on series in the game. That guy is a game changer, and that defense is totally different when he doesn't play. That''s what they get for relying so much on one player.
that we shouldn't get too big of heads and think we are indestructable now. We have a GREAT TEAM, but we still have six games to play and the one thing I don't want is to see the steelers in the post season, especially if they have Polamolu in the line-up. It concerns me that he didn't play in either game we beat them this year. We need to have a healthy respect for him. I think back to the '05 season when we were so sure we had 'em licked, and Pittsburgh just trounced us. We played a decent game yesterday, but remember we didn't get any offensive TDs. And the Steelers were clearly having an off day. We can beat them, but let's not get too far ahead of ourselves. The next time, Rothlusburger may have a good day. Bengals vs Steelers coverage

Troy don't play special teams
the truth is we didn’t have a very good game offensively and we found a way to win. they didn’t have The Hair but we didn’t have Ced either. When this offense is clicking, it’s as good as any team in the league. mix in the D and ST and you have to feel good. forget the past these guys obviously have.
What bad officiating calls?
Steelers had an off day? Bengal D was stepping on their neck. Ben could throw because he couldn’t breath.
first, this is simply what happens when you spend too much time around steelers fans; you start to buy into their propaganda. exhibit a, what bad calls by the officials? the officiating was remarkably unnoticeable. exhibit b, the likening of troy polamalu to jesus. one game we win when he’s not playing, fine, i’ll give you that his absence could have played a factor, but twice in one season is just churning the excuse machine. that’s like saying they only beat us twice last season because carson wasn’t playing. and steelers fans would tell you that you’re just using that as an excuse and good teams find ways to win even when they’re players are injured, so give them the same in return. troy or not, the bengals win that game sunday. period.
i'm going to go america all over your ass!
Off Day?
I hate the excuse of you having an off-day….People say it all the time, but come on. Off days are caused alot by the opposing team keeping you off balance (mentally and physically) and out of rythm. There was no off day, OUR DEFENSE SHUT THEM DOWN!!

Troy P being out
is measurable against Palmer being out in the 05 playoff game. They tell us that Kitna was just as good… ha. Now they have something pretty comparable, and they still deny.
Also, the Bengals have more strong major starters out (Odom, Rivers, Henry, more…), but we don’t get to use that in argument (according to most any steeler fan you talk with).
That'd be the butt, bob.
