Bernard Scott nominated for Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week

For the second time in as many weeks, Bengals rookie running back Bernard Scott is one of five finalists for the Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week. Last week he was nominated for his 260 yards total effort (kickoff returns, rushing and receiving), which was capped by a 96-yard touchdown return that proved to be the only touchdown during the Bengals 18-12 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. Scott was also named AFC Special Teams Player of the Week last week.

Against the Oakland Raiders, Scott recorded 166 total yards on offense and special teams, but no touchdowns.

Other nominations include:

You guys know how this works. It's a fan vote. It's already started and lasts until noon on Friday. So vote often for Scott.

Good for B Scott

This dude has overcome a lot to get where he is and it shows on the field. he never gives up and is will ber a great backup to Ced. Give him the ball 7-10 times a when Ced comes back and all will be good. He should have gooten the ball when JJ did. But we still need to open up the passing attack some more..

Coolness

There are actually some legit choices this week. Sometimes it is one dude who did a great week and the rest are filler.

I guess a winning record brings out freaks.
