After the way Roland got manhandled last week @OAK, this was a matter of time
Agreed.
Think it had a lot to do with releasing Kooistra earlier in the week too.

I think that our offense is more content to dink and dunk their way down the field this year and have long, sustained, time killing drives. The deep ball doesn’t seem to be a huge part of the playbook this year.

WHO DEY!
I need to see a blowout today from our boys. Would like to see them come out real fired up after that debacle last week.
Damn Fantasy Cliffhangers
Still waiting on the word about Michael Turner in one league I’m in. Picked up Chester Taylor in another due to AP being inactive. And I’m starting Bernard Scott in all three of my leagues today.

Let’ s hope the Bengals get on the gas quick and keep it on. None of this “going conservative after getting a 14 point lead in the 2nd Quarter” crap. This team is not good enough to win games when they are not focused.

Ravens play the Steelers, who don’t have Troy or Ben.
If the Ravens win and the Bengals win, the Bengals will take a two game (really a three-game considering tie-breakers) lead.

Geoff Hobson on Benson....
The Bengals fear that Benson’s type of muscle strain is simlilar to that of a groin or hamstring issue and even when it feels ready it needs more time to heal. Plus, reaggravating it would put him on the shelf longer.

Purely in the computers
Cincinnati is 3rd, just .01 behind Florida.
Alabama 1.000
Florida .930
Cincinnati .920
Texas .880
TCU .870
A Texas loss coupled with a UC win and the SEC championship game forcing a loser should put UC into second in the computers and second or third in the human voting categories. Based on the numbers, a Texas loss puts UC in the championship game
Speaking of which. I need to transfer.

Got the running game going again.
Gonna be drawing that safety into the box soon. Almost time to start chucking it again.
WITH A PLAY-ACTION, PLEASE BRAT.
I agree
need more of the PA pass when we establish the run

Yea, I don't understand that.
We’re not passing well right now. Before Palmer’s 15-yard pass to Ocho, he was 4/10 for 21 yards passing.

how sad is it that we're booing a 7-3 team.
i like that we’re keeping thier defense on the feild longer but…. seriously these play calls are so so unoriginal.

How do you stop an aggressive pass rush?
Run run run. Then we’ll have play action passes. Good adjustment by the Bengals’ coaches. We have too many weapons…you can’t stop everything…
Third and Eight
Palmer, in shotgun. Throws left to Caldwell running a crossing pattern and a FIRST DOWN.

I could care less about the stats
except for amount of points. O-line looks terribly out of synch; I wonder if Andre Getting snaps has put them out of kilter.

I'd argue that the o-line is playing great and terrible.
This unit rushing the football is playing top notch. Against the pass, really bad.

They’ve been waiting for it too. Waited too long.
Third and Goal
Palmer, in shotgun. Palmer looks right and clutches. Rolls right. He finds J.P. Foschi for a TOUCHDOWN!!!

Foschi.
He was covered for a moment, then fought off the coverage and found a hole for Palmer to throw into.
Great play by Foschi, who I believe is getting stronger. Once Coffman mans up and plays, Foschi will be a good backup TE.
