Purify Released

Still no word on the activation of Simpson.  It looks like Quan Cosby benefits the most with this move.  Let's see how it plays out with Simpson, who the coaches do not trust according to Joe Reedy.

Purify is free to join the practice squad at this point.  Shaun Smith was signed to take his place of course b/c it is still a "numbers" game as Marvin puts it.

I would like to see the Bengals make a move at safety though, b/c Crocker is all sorts of banged up and although I like Tom Nelson, I don't see him being a consistent performer down the stretch.

Pop the cork its celebration time!

Daniamal,

I am on cloud nine and half in the bag celebrating this move. Its no time to say i told you so, but it is time to celebrate this move in the hopes it makes a difference. I dont know if it will but it shows some football smarts! Who Dey!!!!… however the Chris Henry news is awful and I pray everthing is okay with him!

I think they should active Simpson for one game

Just so us Bengals fans will stop complaining once we see how much he sucks. The same should’ve been done for Coffman, at least for BengalBoy’s sake.
