Open Thread: NFL Early games and early Bengals discussions

With Cincinnati playing a late afternoon game against the San Diego Chargers, that means we have a schedule of early games on tap, as well as some time to talk about Cincinnati's big game coming up after 4 P.M. If you're in Cincinnati, we have the 49ers and Eagles as our early Fox game. Actually, it's our only game. Damn Time Warner. So talk about the Bengals, the NFL or what your game day spread is. We're having a lazy pizza day today. And there's nothing wrong with a lazy pizza day.

UPDATE: Joe Reedy has just posted the Bengals' inactives on Twitter.

Inactive for the Bengals today in San Diego are the following:

RB Bernard Scott, FB Fui Vakapuna, S Chris Crocker, OT Anthony Collins, DT Domata Peko, DT Orien Harris.  QB Jordan Palmer is listed as the 3rd QB.

Yes, ladies and gentlemen.  Jerome Simpson is active and in the hizz-ouse.

Anyone see the Saints loss last night?

For those Graham haters, hey, we could have Nick Folk. ;-)

Maybe it’s just the horror of the Neil Rackers years, but I’ve always had a tough time getting mad at Graham.

A big WHO DEY to everyone today!

I won’t be around much, I’m cleaning the apartment so my Dad can come over to watch the game later (don’t know how it’s not being broadcast up here in NE Ohio between Chris Henry and the playoff implications, but that’s why I have the Ticket). Hey, I actually get to USE my Sunday Ticket this week! lol

Who Dey from Qualcomm!

I’m repping cincy jungle from the 7th row behind the Bengals bench today. Here’s hoping we play inspired football today…

Baltimore/Chicago

Play at 4:15 today. We’ll have to keep our eye on that while the Bengals play.

How’s the Browns at Chiefs today? Hehe.

That's what I'm watching right now while I'm cleaning. lol

Cleveland has absolutely ruined Brady Quinn. That interception was just terrible.

Wait

You have NFL Ticket and you’re CHOOSING that game? :-)

Come on, Cassell. Feed the ball to Bowe, please.

And Mr. Quinn, when you do get the ball back, could you please work a touchdown to Massaquoi into your gameplan and execute it masterfully?

by Craig Conrad on Dec 20, 2009 1:28 PM EST reply actions

Cassell

Has anyone benefited so much after one season and then gone back to “not doing much” than Cassell? Not that it’s all his fault or anything, but man. He scored big after 2008.

Seriously.

Talk about being in the right place at the right time, Matt Cassell.

by Craig Conrad on Dec 20, 2009 1:35 PM EST up reply actions

Okay, Dwayne Bowe?

You’ve got to CATCH the ball in the end zone, man.

by Craig Conrad on Dec 20, 2009 1:29 PM EST reply actions

Haven't seen it

In fact, I haven’t seen much in the theaters lately.

Whoa there, Josh Cribbs.

NFL-record seventh KO return for a TD. And about ten broken tackles on the way. Unreal.

by Craig Conrad on Dec 20, 2009 1:35 PM EST reply actions

with a nice throw by Sanchez.

How about a few of those by Carson today … If Edwards can catch, surely Simpson can too.

by the Rev'd on Dec 20, 2009 1:53 PM EST up reply actions

Browns have Cribbs...

All they need. :-)
Hey all….good day for a BENGAL win!

by Sloppygolf on Dec 20, 2009 1:40 PM EST reply actions

I love my Sirius Stiletto.

While caroling with my church tonight, I can at least check the score and maybe listen some to the Bengals (who btw, the LAST time I couldnt watch or listen blew out the Bears).

Jerome Harrison's looking pretty beastly.

Maybe I should have taken the Yahoo guys seriously and picked him up a couple of weeks ago. But when you have a RB stable of Chris Johnson, Steven Jackson and Beanie Wells…

by Craig Conrad on Dec 20, 2009 2:02 PM EST reply actions

I have him in my fantasy league...

…alas I’ve been eliminated, however, its a keeper league—could be the starter next year.

by goffchile on Dec 20, 2009 2:04 PM EST up reply actions

I'm the 1 seed in my facebook league and the 3 seed in my Yahoo league.

The only reason I’m still even in the picture in the Yahoo league is Chris Johnson. He’s given me 321 points so far this year.

by Craig Conrad on Dec 20, 2009 2:10 PM EST up reply actions

Cribbs

Just flushed my fantasy championship hopes down the drain with his two returns.
