Despite Loss, I Feel Encouraged

It was a tough loss, but we played a tough San Diego team and came within a few plays of upsetting them on their home field.  Carson finally looked like Carson.  I feel like this could be the impetus for a deep playoff run.  We'll take care of business next week and we should be fine.  Okay, I'm still nervous, but we now look more like a playoff team.

I also feel encouraged by the win

However, I still feel uneasy about this weekend with KC. I just want to get the division clinched already so we can get that behind us

Seconded

The only down side to the day was seeing leon hall get lit up all day long… other than that I loved watching Carson throw it up and down the field today. That was beautiful.

that was the only down side?

so I guess we have decided to let the penalties go at this point..

5+ games with at least 8 penalties. not good. If we hadn’t lost focus in the third quarter who knows how that game ends.

Aside from the fact that we’ve lost any chance of the #2 seed… at least we played pretty well. And that is an improvement, so it’s a good thing. You gotta start somewhere.

Time to pick it up

Way too many penalties, no offensive rhythm, and no excuses when this team has Cedric Benson AND Larry Johnson on its roster…time to focus, and find someone who can call offensive plays that are not offensive…it’s not rocket science to be able to get into a groove…but they’ve gotten into an offensive rut…

You should....you finally have a good team relish it...it doesn't last I know I'm from

your sister site…Arrowhead Pride…you could be us…so it could be worse.

I don't feel encouraged

because of the penalties, for one. Marvin says that’s fixable. This is a recording. This is a f-cking recording.

The defense played like crap the last two weeks against playoff quality teams.

I’m not sold on Ced Benson at this point. Yards per carry is important. His is not good lately.

Yeah, and

the defense is all banged up too. That is what you get when you start putiing more than three backup pkayers in at the same time. Sometimes you can disguise the weakness, but when you have several weak spots, well then, this is what happens. We need for the defense to get healthy again. Quick!!!

I think that Cedric is going though the same thing that AD is going through in minnesota, He’s been run a ton and he got hurt and out of the flow, they would do themselve a favor by giving LJ a ton of carries this week and letting him rest. I feel like the loss of Peko and Crocker really hurt us because the TD that Hall gave up was nelson’s fault
