I still think Manning and Brees have a leg up on Johnson.
After all, they actually have winning records.

They're about to be .500
And if CJ gets 2000 yards this season, he’ll be hard to ignore come MVP time.
nah
its between Peyton, Brees and Favre
you could have 3 15+ win ballclubs
"Nate Silver is a genius" .... BK
So if Chris Johnson breaks the single season rushing record and the Titans make the playoffs, he won’t win because of 3 15 win teams? Not the Most Valuable Team award…
RE:
IF, and that’s a big if, CJ breaks 2,000 and the Titans DO go to the playoffs, we’ll talk then.

That's exactly my point too.
What has he done that deserves a better look than Favre, Brees or Manning?

You take a 2000 yard rusher away from Vince Young
And watch what happens. Brees and Manning have talent up and down the roster on the offensive side. Not true for the Titans.
Meachem, Colston, Henderson?
Pierre Thomas? Reggie Bush? Jeremy Shockey? That’s a lot of good talent to spread the ball around to — much more than Tennessee has on offense.
Who Dey!
Time to exert feline supremacy over the Lions.

Let's make it a Cincy weekend sweep!
Blogger at CincyJungle.com -- SB Nation Cincinnati Bengals blog.
Don't bother covering Kevin Smith or anything.
Blogger at CincyJungle.com -- SB Nation Cincinnati Bengals blog.
Guess no one wanted to cover Kevin Smith...
Catches it in the flat and runs 10 yards before there are any black shirts.
Stafford in the gun with 4 wide and a TE.
Looks left, comes back right, throws incomplete to Johnson.
I have one early game -- KC/Denver -- and only one afternoon game...
Dallas/NYG. What gives? Why don’t I get a freaking doubleheader?
RE:
We’ve got Cowboys/Giants for our afternoon in the nati and Chargers and Browns.

3rd and long for Detroit.
Stafford tucks and runs for 3 yards to bring up 4th and 10. Coverage must have been solid, because Stafford had no where to go with it out of the gun.
Palmer is going to have the best game of the year today.
My bold prediction of the day.
Blogger at CincyJungle.com -- SB Nation Cincinnati Bengals blog.
Palmer to Coles on first down for a first down.
Did anyone touch him down? Because I didn’t see anyone touch him down. Oh well, first and 10. Cedric behind Jeremi, Palmer skips it to Chad on the sideline. Here comes 2nd and 10.
Lost four yards in the process
Blogger at CincyJungle.com -- SB Nation Cincinnati Bengals blog.
by Josh Kirkendall on Dec 6, 2009 1:10 PM EST up reply actions
Carson throws over the middle to Chad and the high throw bounces off his hands.
Chad wants a flag, but there’s none. On comes Huber.
Chad was WIDE open.
1) low throw to Coles
2) skip pass to Chad
3) overthrown to wide-open Chad
Blogger at CincyJungle.com -- SB Nation Cincinnati Bengals blog.
Plus he had time to set his feet.
Is he getting jumpy already?

Huber's punt is perfect, but Quan can't secure it on the one.
Bounces off his hands into the endzone for a touchback.
What's missing at the tailgate party?........................ tail!
Cracks me up every time.
Blogger at CincyJungle.com -- SB Nation Cincinnati Bengals blog.
And man, what a stupid call for Cedric's first play back.
A stretch play? To the left side? Let him bang it up the middle and get some swag back.
Andre Smith was in on that play too.
He was at right tackle. They ran to the left.

If you're going to get flagged...
Then commit big, says Tank Johnson.
Blogger at CincyJungle.com -- SB Nation Cincinnati Bengals blog.
Billick says the defense is trying to confuse Stafford.
I formation handoff to Kevin Smith, who slips through Bengals defender in the backfield and gets 6 yards for a first.

its not the best quality
Defense looks pretty bad...
missed tackles, zero pressure on QB

Tom Brady
Heard all weekend about his “finger”. Then he throws a 58-yard TD pass.
Blogger at CincyJungle.com -- SB Nation Cincinnati Bengals blog.
Single setback, Stafford has 3 receivers.
Hands off to Kevin Smith who spins out of a tackle and falls forward for 5 or so.
Brady 60 yd bomb to Moss
NE wearing the throwbacks again. How come Cincy didnt this season?
"Nate Silver is a genius" .... BK
Loss of Peko may be a bigger deal than the Bengals let on.

3rd and 6 from the 49
Stafford in the gun with 3 WR and a setback. Flag is down and the pass is incomplete with a second flag down.
Where was the false start?
the RG jumped out of his shoes.
"Ryan, Things in here don't react too well to bullets." - Marko Ramius
3rd and 6 again.
Same formation, flipped. Stafford throws short of the first down and solid tackling left the Lions short. 4th and 2 at the 46 or so.
Morgan Trent had a good shot at Stafford on that one.
On comes the punt team and Billick praises the blitz.
Aye.

The first after a penalty earlier in the game, the second to preserve time for the Bengals to score in the first half

he’s vunerable to the bull-rush. Its on the game tape now and he just doens’t seem to be able to correct his technique

take a shot, kick if it fails.
If not in end zone, drop the ball (receivers)
I guess a winning record brings out freaks.
Collins better pass blocker
Roland better run blocker?
It was like no one really knew what to do.
Do we go for one more shot? Do we go ahead and kick it?

Peyton Manning is great for that type of thing. He knows the playbook inside out and is a master at knowing his team in every situation. Carson just seems rusty

i agree with making it a 2 possession game
plus the stripes get the ball in the 2nd half

odd
no way NE or IND kicks a 2nd down FG with 14 seconds left on the clock.

I'm just disappointed in the Offense
I thought this would be a good game to brush off the cob webs
