just said Chris Johnson is the best player in the nfl.

The guy is real good.

I mean, honestly, he breaks a 60 yard run every week.

by jsl413 on Dec 6, 2009 12:49 PM EST up reply actions

I still think Manning and Brees have a leg up on Johnson.

After all, they actually have winning records.

"Nate Silver is a genius" .... BK

by obc2 on Dec 6, 2009 12:54 PM EST up reply actions

So what more could Chris Johnson have done to give the Titans a winning record?

by bodacio on Dec 6, 2009 12:57 PM EST up reply actions

They're about to be .500

And if CJ gets 2000 yards this season, he’ll be hard to ignore come MVP time.

by IFChris on Dec 6, 2009 12:58 PM EST up reply actions

nah

its between Peyton, Brees and Favre

you could have 3 15+ win ballclubs

"Nate Silver is a genius" .... BK

by obc2 on Dec 6, 2009 12:59 PM EST up reply actions

If they go 8-8 or 9-7...

…And CJ busts 2 grand, he’ll be right there w/Brees and Manning.

by IFChris on Dec 6, 2009 1:00 PM EST up reply actions

So if Chris Johnson breaks the single season rushing record and the Titans make the playoffs, he won’t win because of 3 15 win teams? Not the Most Valuable Team award…

You take a 2000 yard rusher away from Vince Young

And watch what happens. Brees and Manning have talent up and down the roster on the offensive side. Not true for the Titans.

Meachem, Colston, Henderson?

Pierre Thomas? Reggie Bush? Jeremy Shockey? That’s a lot of good talent to spread the ball around to — much more than Tennessee has on offense.
