Report: Bengals "hopeful" to get Domata Peko back by season finale.
Watching Sunday's game, it definitely felt like something was missing when you didn't see Domata Peko's wild hair clogging the middle of the line of scrimmage. He missed Sunday's game against the Lions after suffering an MCL sprain several weeks ago.
Geoff Hobson writes:
After undergoing arthroscopic surgery for a knee problem, defensive tackle Domata Peko is out with the Bengals hoping they get him back in time for Jan. 3 regular-season finale in New Jersey against the Jets.
Losing Peko will put a damper on the Bengals rush defense, which ranks second in the league right now, with games against Adrian Peterson, LaDainian Tomlinson and Darren Sproles upcoming.
Also out this Sunday against the Vikings will be Bernard Scott.

I know this probably isn't the proper place but
I think that Palmer has the talent to be better than the 10th ranked QB, and his numbers are skewed down due to his commitment to not make big errors that could cost us a lead.
That being said, I would like to see him play better than he has the last few games.
Nevertheless, if we’re down by 4 with 2 minutes to go, and we have the ball, I’m as confident that Carson will get a TD as I would be in any other QB above him on that list.
As for Peko, his absence is pretty bad, but it will be really bad if Tank can’t get/stay healthy
i'm confused...
who is running around saying “Carson sucks”?
and further, what’s your point? that his DYAR is better than kyle orton’s?
this makes about as much sense as me saying: “for those of you who think bill belichik sucks, think again! ”http://www.nfl.com" target="_blank">www.nfl.com"
Check some of the game threads out.
My point is that advanced stats show Carson as having a better year than his actual stats would indicate. Nothing more nothing less.
great..
there goes our awesome goal line formation with Peko as the FB. Get well soon damn it!

Bernard Scott ruled out already
Sounds more serious that initially reported.
toe injuries take about 3 weeks
at least that’s what they said in Matt Ryan’s case. Said if you rush them, surgery will be required.

I recall a few of you bashing Peko in the offseason...
saying he wasn’t worht the money we gave him on his extension and giving him an “average at best” grade on all of our draft picks over the past 10 years. Fess up, who was it?
