Chad Ocho Cinco has been fined $30,000 dollars for his "Mexican Man" celebration. I think we all kinda figured it was coming but I think IFChris guessed it was $50,000 dollars? That was a little high but im still surprised on the amount because jeez this is really the No Fun League, I would maybe have guessed around $10,000 but 30 grand I think is a little excessive. Tommie Harris for the Bears punched another palyer and I think he only got $7,500 so that should tell you something. I think Roger Godell has it out for Ocho Cinco, Ocho makes football fun and Godell takes all the fun out of it, and he is trying to take all the "Football" out of football with all these new rules like not tackling quarterbacks and giving them pink jerseys and flags to pull. What a chump!!! Chad didnt even do that on the field, didnt get a flag, and didn't disrupt the game one bit! It just added to the smile I already had from that 54 yard touchdown (which I was shocked to see with the run always mentality). But O-well its pocket change for Ocho. Was he fined for the Hall of Fame Jacket? I cant remember, it wasnt on the field either. It is just another thing for Shannon Sharpe, Boomer, and the rest of the Ocho haters to talk about. The League wrote this in a letter to the Ocho:
"During the second quarter of the Bengals qame, you were observed gesturing for, and then wearing, a decorative poncho and sombrero in the bench area. ...
"Compounding your violation is the fact that your actions were premeditated and deliberate. Prior to the game on your publicly accessible Twitter account, you posted the following: '@adam_schefter what I've planned for today will get me fined when I score but it's so worth it.'"
He also planned this for the Vikings game via twitter:
