Carson Palmer is zippin', and young receivers are progressin'

Antonio Chatman, Jerome Simpson and Andre Caldwell were in the Los Angeles area at the Charles Collins receiver camp, where Carson Palmer "zipped through about 60 passes at a workout near his southern California home with three of his Bengals receivers." Geoff Hobson writes, "Collins said Palmer was encouraged with how his receivers looked and was particularly intrigued with the progress of Simpson."

Palmer zippin' passes. Encouraged by young receiver progress -- especially Simpson's. We've heard about Chris Henry and his rejuvenation that's better termed "better get my crap together". Healthy Palmer. Simpson and Caldwell coming into their own? Could this be a season that the worst ranked offense becomes the best ranked offense the following year? All right. All right. Getting ahead of myself. Still, anything is better than that horrifying season last year.
