According to Bengals.com, in 2008 Jeanty recorded 97 tackles, including 15 on special teams. He tied for the team lead with two forced fumbles and recorded two tackles-for-loss and five quarterback hurries. Jeanty won the 2008 Ed Block Courage Award. Jeanty originally was given the starting SAM linebacker spot after David Pollack suffered a career-ending injury against the Browns.
