Bengals sign WR Quan Cosby from Texas

PrintThe Enquirer's Joe Reedy writes that the Bengals have begun making their rounds with undrafted free agents. The most notable is Texas WR Quan Cosby. Not only was pimped hardcore by ESPN, but Cosby caught the winning touchdown to beat the Ohio State Buckeyes in the Fiesta Bowl. Great. If you can't beat them, make sure you sign them after they go undrafted. In that game, Cosby caught 14 passes for 171 yards receiving and two touchdowns.

You scored getting Cosby. This guy is a true heart player who just happens to be really good. You don’t start at Texas not being talented. He’s played pro ball and is married with a kid. He’s just a really good guy. He doesn’t drop passes. Won state in the 100 m is high shcool with a 10.4. He’s going to piss Ocho Cinco off because he’s going to take balls away from him

Quan will be ready to play sooner than most rookie wideouts and will excel in a Wes Welker type role. I think he’ll make your team.
