Fui
What do you think about using Fui Vapakuna as one of our RB's and keeping Jermi Johnson as our FB? This is what Baltimore did with L.McCoy and L. Neil last year. If we really want smashmouth football use Benson as the primary back, Fui as the short yardage / goalline back, and either Watson, Dorsey, or Scott, as the 3rd down back. With those guys running behind Andre Smith with a relativly healthy Jermi Johnson leading the way, it could be dangerous.

i was thinking the same thing
he can run the ball, and i think in the end that will help him make the team
I think we already have our Beef back
with Benson we need a quick back to just sprint as fast as he can to the endzone
I’d like to see a primary backfield of Benson and Bernard Scott. That assumes that Scott keeps his nose clean and that his tape is an accurate indication of his instinctual and shifty running. Benson’s rudimentary skills as a receiver, added to Scott’s excellent hands ought to make Watson obsolete, especially if both Vakapuna- who can be a backup tailback, and Jeremi Johnson are on the roster. Four backs to do the job of five.
Oh, and Jason Shirley as a fullback, making it over a thousand pounds- with Bobbie and Andre- for Benson to run behind in goal line situations. ;→

No matter what
RB is definitely going to be a heated battle in training camp.
It's still a good season if we go 2-14 and beat the Steelers twice.
