Our Annual Proverbial Phrase

"The Bengals are going to be so good this year. Everyone is going to be healthy. This might not be the year but next year for sure!"

I AM SO SICK OF THIS! Every year, and I include myself in this, people walk around saying how good the Bengals look and whats on the horizon. Well I for one am turning in my token and in return I just want peace of mind. I'm not saying that I'm no longer a Bengals fan, just that I can't stand to get my hopes up and/or down about anything that the Bengals do between now and the start of the regular season. As far as fan appreciation and how the Brown family treats Cincinnati we are like the feral child locked in the back bedroom somewhere in a trailor ridden by dust in a desert somewhere. My emotional attatchment to the Bengals was severed and pissed on when Ocho Waste of Talento slamed the Bengals and all the fans during last years off season. I still can't believe that guy. Do you remember when he was on T.V. saying "Bengals are like color TV and it's our time now so get used to it." What the hell is wrong with this guy, he was one of my favorite people that I've ever heard of but now he just annually smacks me in the face with his deceit.

I do admit, this draft has been a serious uplift but after watching Keith Rivers get knocked out by a person I don't even want to mention the name of I am remaining at a distance. And if I have to watch Carson get knocked around like a bowling pin one more time I am done. The guy is one of a kind and probably the best QB we've ever had but the Brown family doesn't know a wrist lock from a wrist watch when it comes to football so he has been underachieving and his career is probably half ruined.

As for T.J.? How could you not be happy for the guy? It sucked to see him go but for the love of god the guy needed to get the hell out of here. It's obvious he took the first bus out of hell when Seattle called. I'll miss his constant 3rd down conversions. Again an amazing football player who liked Cincinnati but somewhere in the managment of this team lies someone who has absolutely no idea what they're doing. Don't blame Marvin either, he only coaches what hes got.

I don't mean to bitch and moan but I've been through this year after year. Isn't it time us as fans did something? I don't want to boycott the Bengals but if there was a petition to find new owners of the Bengals my name would be first on the list of names.

Regardless of what happens I know I'll see you on the bandwagon this season. I'll be the one looking embarrassed because how much bitching I did in the offseason.
