Carson's confidence

Mike Silver Article

So it seems that every time I poke around the net I find an article where Carson can't say enough about how improved the team is and that they are going to be a lot better than last year.  They guy is either seriously impressed with the way the off season has gone or a bit delusional, one or the other.  I for one love his confidence and enthusiasm, he is turning into the type of leader that this team needs.  So he is presumably healthy and stoked about the guys around him, does he make it back to the Pro Bowl this year?

But notice that he had nothing good to say about Chad. He actually sounded like he either wanted him gone or said someone may steal his spot by the time camp is over.

Actually

That would be a sign of a leader. Chad is about look at me and not what is best for the team.

Agreed

I think the days of Palmer being chewed out by the receivers is over. Palmer definetly has a my way or the highway attitude. Just think of how Eli changed after Shockey left and Burress had no partners in crime to compain with him. He saounds like a leader and that will only help us as a team.

I am going to say no

and hope he proves me wrong. There is just too much that is up in the air to me at this point. Will the o-line gel and keep him upright, will his elbow hold up, will Chad come back strong, will Coles and our 3rd receiver produce? I know he has the talent, but just too many unknowns for me to say yes he will make it.

It's still a good season if we go 2-14 and beat the Steelers twice.
