Anyone else see the SI article on improved teams?
What I can't understand is how everyone is saying how great Philly's O-line will be with Andrews and Peters. As we've stated many times before, you can tell these people have never seen a Bengals game in their life. Andrews gave up 9.5 sacks and our line was garbage. SI is acting like they stole this guy from us. Didn't Peters give up like 11 or 12 sacks last year? These writers pick their favorite teams (which so happen to be the big market teams) and think that every move they make is genius but with all of the money that was spent, I can't see them being better off than they were with Runyan and Tra Thomas. However, unless our rookie gives up more than 9.5 sack next year, we will be improved.
This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of Cincy Jungle's writers or editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of Cincy Jungle's writers or editors.

They can take out our other garbage too
By that logic I think that Chris Perry ought to be a great pickup for some lucky team.
This is our year!
RE: Andrews
Plus he’s coming off a major knee injury.

You can have all the talent in the world!
But you need team chemistry to win a championship. I think the Eagles have a very good shot to making it to the super bowl because last year could have been concidered an off year and they still made it to the NFC championship game. But I have heard some analyst talk about cincy too, they are also very hesitant to put them selves out on the limb!

At their website it's not so glorious.

But … The leadership took a big hit and it remains to be seen if players are able to fill the void left by Thomas, Runyan and most notably Dawkins. Offensive linemen work in unison in the trenches, not on paper, and their top three talents are coming off either a serious surgery (the Andrews brothers) or a lackluster season (Peters). The Birds still lack a big-back to pound the rock on obvious run downs and don’t have a proven No. 1 receiver.
now see.. at least we have not one, but TWO proven #1 WRs running routes for us this year (hamstring injury pending)
once again.. opposing d-fences.. who ya gonna cover??
