Excitement for our Draft Picks

I don't know what it is worth, but I had the idea the other day to look back at an early version of the 2009 mock draft.  I was particularly interested to find out how the Bengals draft picks were viewed immediately after the college football season was finished, but before the (in my opinion) over hyped combine/workouts occurred.  I found the following from SI: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2009/writers/don_banks/01/22/mock1/index.html

According to this mock poll, the bengals got the #1 (Smith), #9 (Johnson) and #12 (Maualuga) ranked players.  Being a big believer in the carry over of dominant play from one level to the next, it was great to see.  Like I said, I don't know what it is worth, other than get me pumped for this season and beyond.
