Fui Vakapuna signed a 4 year dear with the Bengals. I'm guessing he has won the battle position @ FB between him Pressley and Jeremi Johnson... I hope that the Bengals can get Andre Smith and Rey signed and into camp ASAP. Now the backfield picture and depth chart is beginning to take form. Hopefully we can get all our picks into camp early for a change

I wouldn’t say that we need him the most, but I would agree that we need him as much as Andre Smith. Although our D-Line is probably in better shape coming out of last season than our O-Line, but I still have some doubts about our ability to effectively stop the run. Even though we finished 12th in the league in total defense, we finished 21st in rushing yards allowed per game (120 yds/game) and we were 20th in rushing TD’s allowed (15). (The silver lining here is that we allowed only 3.9 yds/carry, which was 10th best in the league). However, We really need that D-Line to come together if we expect to have any continued defensive success.

This is our year!

Well if andre isnt in camp right away, all that does is give Anthony Collins the chance to prove himself. But having Johnson in camp right away is important because they are really moving him around a lot. LB, DE, DT. Hes really our best athelete so we need to know how to use him.

the death of one MJ...

brings about the coming of the next MJ. hopefully this one doesn’t find young boys as attractive as the first.. this kid has incredible athleticism and looks like a linebacker with stilts on. I cannot wait to watch him bat balls outta the air all year long.

over/under on MJ causing major INT goodness for our Dfense?

bad MJ reference there 80%....ugh

however, I think that our MJ could perfect the tip drill so that we see an improvement in interceptions and hopefully defensive TDs.

From what I have seen he might have the potential to be something we haven’t seen in the NFL in awhile- a good blocking FB that is a threat to run as well. Last one I can think of is Mike Alstott. You could say Hillis from Denver last year, but he got all those yards playing HB.

It's still a good season if we go 2-14 and beat the Steelers twice.
