Marvin Lewis: "Mike has done a really good job. He has exceeded my expectations. Of all the rookie players that I’ve been around in the NFL, he’s played as fast and as physical and has made as many football plays early in camp (as any of them). I have been really pleased with Mike."

He's fine for now..

But once he becomes recognized the chip on his shoulder may disappear and maybe he’ll slip. I’m too much a pessimist on Cincinnati sports sometimes.

i thought the most interesting comment form Coach Lewis was when asked about the progress on Andre Caldwell

"He finished the season as our best player out there last year on offense. Andre has done nothing but go forward since then.

"Ghiaciuc's play was a distraction"

With a plethora of WR’s and no TE’s left, maybe we should line up in more 4 WR sets instead of reaching for a mediocre TE. Ocho, Coles, Henry, Caldwell all on the field at once sounds good to me.

As long as Watson (or somebody equally as good at paas protection) is back there to give Palmer that extra few second to throw when necessary… I’m game.
