3 Players that might be huge....
I know it's too early to tell, but given last night's performance, I can see three players that might be huge this season.
First off, Chase Coffman. Not only are the other two tight ends likely to not play this season (Kelly is out for sure), but he seems like a beast all on his own. Palmer is going to make him one of his favorite receivers. And if he learns to block, he might be our next Tony Gonzalez.
Second, Brian Leonard. The guy is big, fast, and hits like a truck. He's going to be huge on third downs and short yardage plays. I hope that Scott can contribute a lot with his outside speed though.
Third. Michael Johnson. Everyone is praising his athletic ability. He might have double digit sacks this year if they play him sufficiently.
Honorable mention:
I don't know why but Freddie Brown seems to be a tough, reliable receiver. He's not a burner and he's not huge in size, but I have a hunch that if he makes the team, he'll contribute sooner or later to this team.

RE:
He’s going to be good in the passing game. He has work to do on rushing blocking (proven last night several times). If he’s not huge this year, I think he’s going to be pretty good later.
Before last night, I liked what Leonard could bring. After last night, I REALLY like Leonard.

Chase Coffman
With Utech out and Reggie Kelly out…by default it has to be Coffman. Even if the other 2 TE’s weren’t out, he’s still the best pass catcher of the trio.
Brian Leonard is a backup, so he won’t have a big impact unless Cedric the cowbell back gets hurt.
Michael Johnson is a freak, but with Odom and Geathers currently the starters, Johnson likely won’t see enough snaps on the field (barring an injury) to make an impact.
So I think it has to be Coffman, because he’s should be on the filed much more than the other 2.

Brian Leonard should be the third down back . His job will be very important catching balls out of the backfield on third and short to help move the chains. This job was supposed to be Chris Perry’s but he couldn’t stay healthy. Expect big things out of Leonard this year. Michael Johnson is a player that could have an impact but he wont play every down . Odom looks good so far , he’s bulked up a bit and looks stronger than last year.

not sure who it will be
but i hope it’s either MJ or Coffman.
We need Coffman to step up as a starter and we need pass rushers – so I hope they tie.
The RB position is all about the offensive line.
