CIN vs. GB: Answer Your Week 2 Questions Here
Greetings from Acme Packing Company, SB Nation's Green Bay Packer site. I am Mitchell, one of the writers for APC, and I wanted Bengal fans to have an opportunity to get answers about the Packers as we head into next week's game.
As an aside, let me offer my deepest condolences for being on the wrong end of what might be the flukiest play of the year. I was pulling for you guys to win (mainly because I despise Josh McDaniels), and to have it turn out like that must have been awful.
In any case, it's a new week and a new game is upon us. Want to know the weak link in the Packers' secondary? How to short circuit the high-flying offense? Which player is most important to the new 3-4 defense? Or maybe just which player will talk the most trash to Chad Johnson Ochocinco?
I'll have answers for as many questions as I can handle; so let them fly! And feel free to drop by www.acmepackingcompany.com to see the lead-up to gametime from a different perspective.
This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of Cincy Jungle's writers or editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of Cincy Jungle's writers or editors.

I somehow doubt it
but perhaps they should be.
I remember running the tip drill in high school (I played safety); we only ever ran the drill on gamedays, and we hardly ever had to use the “skills” we learned from it. I guess Brandon Stokely really likes the tip drill. (Double entendre’d!)
Seriously, guys, don’t feel too bad about that play. If nothing else, it will give your defense a chip on its shoulder that it can use as motivation to improve for the rest of the season.

I think
we need something to give the offense a chip on its shoulder.
so he'll call another great round of plays..
2008 play call standard:
1st down- run up the middle
2nd down- run up the middle
3rd down- try to throw to TJ
4th down- bad 20yrd punt by Larson
his playbook changes for this year:
1st down- run up the middle
2nd down- run to the tackles
3rd down- pass to a TE or Coles who will drop the pass or get murdered in space
4th down- awesome 45 yrd punt by Huber
Good work Brat.. dont worry, you wont get fired. What a big fat suckball..

hey, he only calls run up the middle if he’s got a speed back in there. if it’s a power back, you’ll see plenty of stretches and pitches.
Packer's Defense
I watched the game on Sunday and was impressed by the aggressiveness of the Packer’s secondary and their success at causing Cutler turnovers. Are the players that were injured in the second half going to play this week – full strength or not?
Can you guys resign Don Majkowski please? Playing against him might be the Bengals’ only shot.

There were only two players were affected,
Nick Collins and Atari Bigby, the starting safeties. Collins was suffering from cramps (it was a hot day that day), so he’ll be 100%.
Atari Bigby tweaked his knee; we’re still waiting on news of his availability.
Collins is infinitely more important than Bigby is; his health is crucial to the 3-4’s aggresiveness.

Pack's OLine
Thanks for answering our questions.
I’ve heard rumors that the Pack’s OLine may have some injury problems, namely an OT. Did a starter go down in Week 1?
Thank you
3 yards and a pile of dust
Green Bay avoided any significant injuries on offense
All five of our starters remain healthy. The biggest story on the O-Line is with RT Allen Barbre and just how strong a hold he has on the starting gig. Maybe he was injured, and that’s why he couldn’t keep up with Bears’ DE Adewale Ogunleye, but I doubt it.

sorry, i should have done my homework. I was confused about pack fans wanting Tauscher back….
sorry, that was a stupid question, but thanks for the response.

It was bad… really bad. The Packers coaches said that the whole offensive line struggled, but I went back and watched some tape, and RT Allen Barbre was just horrible. Ogunleye had about 8 hits on Rodgers….literally. (Barbre did look ok to me on rushing downs)
Packer fans had been blessed with 8 or 9 really solid years from the the tackles (Clifton and Tauscher), its easy to forget how important those guys are.
Concern
Hey, I want to let you know that I love the Pack this year… except this week of course.
Your team does of course have many reasons to be confident, but my question is what is your biggest concern when facing the Bengals on Sunday. Be kind…
Honestly,
it’s the linebackers. While Chicago’s Lance Briggs and Brian Urlacher gave the Packer offense problems, I have a feeling that Keith Rivers, Rey Maualuga, and Roy Williams (when he’s not getting burned in coverage) will make establishing a run game very difficult.

How are you going to deal with Sunday's loss against the Bengals?
If you don't live like you wanna, you live like you shouldn't
Lots of hand-wringing and claims of "the sky is falling"
Unless, of course, we don’t lose, in which case everything will be hunky-dory.
