Adam Schefter: Carson Palmer won't play in preseason finale against the Colts
Adam Schefter answers VMAN's question earlier this morning, tweeting that "Carson Palmer will not play tomorrow night versus the Colts, but will be ready for the regular-season opener versus the Broncos." Even though he made progress this week, the team is likely giving \him another week's worth of rest before taking the field again. However, the issue is that Palmer will have gone a full month without a taking a snap in game conditions.
Not that anyone is going to see it. Tickets are still available for the home opening against the Denver Broncos, which means fans that just want to watch the Bengals with a cold beer will likely have to tune into the Cleveland Browns for their Sunday NFL fix.

We're rolling into the season with some real momentum...
Kind of like last year when we rounded out the preseason with Palmer’s face smashed. This team gives me every indication it can be just as magical as 2008. Who Dey!(11 teams last year)
Am sorta torn on this
In the last 20 months, or so, Palmer has played in 4 reg-season games in ‘08 ( about 4 quarters of preseason in ’08) and 1 quarter preseason in ’09. That’s not much football. How much a series or 2 tomorrow nite would matter is probably nominal, so sit him, just to be safe. But QBing is all about staying upright … and timing. I question how sharp he can be vs. Denver.
