Honestly.

I don’t see it. The Bengals rarely pull off a successful revenge shot.

So are the Chiefs.

Philly is absolutely murdering them. If I’m not mistaken, Kevin Harlan said at one point early in the fourth quarter, KC has had 10 possessions in the game and had 3-and-outs on 6 or 7 of them.

This is essentially the worst start we could have had.

Great KO return, offense kills momentum with a false start and 2 straight stupid running plays that are completely ineffective.

Defense gets the Steelers deep in their own territory, lose contain on a 4-man rush and have awful coverage in what I can only assume is a Cover-3 against 2 streaks and a post, then blitz inside while Willy P bounces it outside.

A few missed bad blocks on the Steelers by the refs already, but we can’t blame them.

Wow

Mike Wallace. What a tool.

by Obi Juan Kenobez on Sep 27, 2009 4:58 PM EDT reply actions

this is as competitive as mike browns benagsl will be

come 2010, no salary cap.

come 2011, no league revenue.

brown will sign college washouts for 40grand to suit up.

by palewook on Sep 27, 2009 4:58 PM EDT reply actions

Nah.

Bet they do a play action pass, because they figure that our running game is such a threat. Wouldn’t doubt that Palmer looks for Chad and throws a pick.

My positive reenforcement is already dry.

Palmer better engineer a TD drive here

Or he’ll deserve the blunt of the blame this week.

He's just making bad decisions.

He’s not seeing the open guys. They need to yell at him. More drags. More slants. More quick outs.

anyone believe in superstition

i feel like every game i watch they lose.

maybe that’s just because they lose almost every game.

by brandone on Sep 27, 2009 5:15 PM EDT reply actions

thats just the odds

since they have a losing record under mike brown. more you watch, more likely you are to see a loss.

by palewook on Sep 27, 2009 5:17 PM EDT up reply actions

quick passes

are what you do when the dbs are 20 yds off the corners. much like we’re playing them.

steelers O-line

looks like a bunch of all pros against us

is tough this year.

by brandone on Sep 27, 2009 5:19 PM EDT reply actions

The first half has taken one hour so far.

The Steelers, of course, are driving and get the ball after the half.

Like I said earlier, I would not have taken the ball first. Not in a game that’s a defensive struggle.

wonder what the half-time speach will consist of

i have an idea

let’s just fuck up the game clock and make the bengals think they only have a minute left on each drive

by brandone on Sep 27, 2009 5:31 PM EDT reply actions

so housh has 0 receptions

after talking smack in the papers this week. saying he was going to show the bears what a mistake they made in not offering him a deal

by palewook on Sep 27, 2009 5:31 PM EDT reply actions

why does Carson

let's hope the first half was all a fake

and the Bengals have a secret 2nd half game plan to unveil

by featherman on Sep 27, 2009 5:37 PM EDT reply actions

yeah

their plan is to fire brat at halftime and hire brian billick.

by brandone on Sep 27, 2009 5:39 PM EDT up reply actions

I don't know...

Not that bad…we should be losing 27 -3 by now

by Sloppygolf on Sep 27, 2009 5:37 PM EDT reply actions

Here's a question:

Will the Bengals outscore the Browns today?

by IFChris on Sep 27, 2009 5:38 PM EDT reply actions

the only way i see a second half comeback

is the defense getting to ben and causing turnovers. we don’t need 3 and outs, we need momentum changers.

by brandone on Sep 27, 2009 5:39 PM EDT reply actions

I have an Idea

Bengals should throw quick slants and bubble screens until the Steelers can stop it.

by featherman on Sep 27, 2009 5:39 PM EDT reply actions

the good news is

they couldn’t have played much worse and are only down 10.

what i’d like to see in the second half:
more bernard scott. especially catching it out of the backfield
more henry. despite lewis’ objections, he can play.
more defense like that 4th down stop.

by brandone on Sep 27, 2009 5:41 PM EDT reply actions

the Bengals got Neutered

in the first half . can they grow a new pair?

by featherman on Sep 27, 2009 5:42 PM EDT reply actions

Last offensive play

…you want to dump it to Leonard?

a five-month old Labrador could make a better call than that!

Lucky to be on the board, but Palmer looks like he’s got a pair of brown trousers on.

by wiseking on Sep 27, 2009 5:42 PM EDT reply actions

he does

I swear his face looked like he was going to cry!
