Open Thread: The NFL's Annual cutdown day; 704 will be unemployed by 6PM
Today is the day that the Bengals, along with the rest of the NFL, start finalizing their roster to get inside the 53-man roster limit. Is this the final roster? Obviously, no. Once the Bengals announce their cuts and set the 53-man roster, they'll pound the waiver wire for anyone released that could help them in other areas. Tight End is a possibility. Either way, 704 NFL players will be without a job by 6 PM tonight.
Here, we can talk about anything regarding roster cuts from any team. Projections about the Bengals are welcome. And make sure you check out our 53-man roster.

As roy1elvis points out:
Cosby and Nelson make the team. Means Lynch is probably gone, Purify is gone.
Cosby confirmed by Twitter.
Trevor Canfield
Released by Arizona. He’s a guard from UC. That makes things interesting for tomorrow.

Corey Ivy released by the Browns
Think he would be an upgrade for our backup CBs?

I know he’s a nice guy and all that, and I don’t have anything personal against the guy… but I do have plenty of football complaints so I would still love it if you turned out to be right for ONLY this year. I’m hoping Swank did enough to get him brought in next year as part of the interview process and they let Graham walk for whatever he can get elsewhere.
actually, everything i’ve ever heard about shayne graham is that he’s an arrogant douchetaco; but i like him as our kicker, mostly because i prefer consistency to the pure dread of the neil rackers years. i don’t want to celebrate a made field goal like it’s a touchdown the way we had to when rackers kicked.
