Can’t get the vomit taste out of my mouth until Brat is gone. Go ahead and piss on your fans, Mike…again.

If keeping Zim means we have to keep Brat, too, I am in.

i hate brat

and i agree with willie anderson who was saying after the loss that they should hire hue jackson.

but…

brat was the OC in 2005 and 06 when our offense was prolific. I HOPE if he stays he can mix the 2 playbooks

RIP Slim.

was the prolific offense a product of Brat or of CJ,CH,TJ,CP,RJ et al?

At least on the newsgroups, there was grousing about how predictable they were then… just Palmer had touch and CJ85 was the only one with dropsies that year.

Gnight, Slim

Any OC

could make hay with two all-pro tackles, an all pro QB, two all pro wide receivers, a deep threat like Chris Henry and a couple of decent running backs.

Also that year they let Carson call more plays. Every audible back then was not a run.

but we still have the major pieces in place

a solid o-line
palmer (i think he’ll be better next year)
ocho (i don’t believe he’s done yet)
benson and scott (the RJ and perry of 2010)

all we need is one of the receivers to step into the TJ role and a deep threat. that can be a rookie because henry was a rookie in 05.

RIP Slim.

I don't agree

The OL is not dominating. Whit is the best player, the other guys are good but not great. In 2005 they had two pro bowlers and a future Pro Bowler in Steinbach. Now they have none. Ocho is getting old — older than any Bengal WR in history with a 1000 yard season. Scott wasn’t much a part of the passing game in 2009 so it’s tough to say he’s the Perry of 2010.

Don't insult Benson like that!

He’s way better than Rudi was! By a long shot!

I agree about Scott. He’s going to be a good one as time goes on. But we need to get Leonard involved more and let him line up with Benson in the backfield. Leonard at FB and Benson at HB…..is a deadly combo in the backfield for sure!

And quite frankly, a split back set would be awesome with Leonard and Benson, or any combo of the RB’s we have. Definitely got some good depth back there.

All of us hate

Brat. Most teams you barely know who the coordinators are. This guy has almost a decade in Cincy already. Who the heck doesn’t clean house completely when they hire a new head coach? Only the Bengals and crazy owners like the Redskins.

Bratkowski HAS TO GO!!!!!!!!

How in the world do you have the most prolific passing game in the NFL and then nothing?

Common sense would tell you that Bratkowski is the issue. He doesn’t want Palmer making the calls on the field, he wants to do it himself.

We need receivers and we need to realize we WANT to be able to run the ball. FINE
But common sense would say we need to have the passing attack we used to have, so our INCREDIBLE DEFENSE, doesn’t have to keep playing three quarters of the game, while our Offense is playing one quarter.

Also Coles has to go! He was supposed to be fabulous. It’s ridiculous how many passes he dropped. With Slim gone, may he rest in peace, and Coles dropping passes left and right, besides the lovely fumble inside the five that kept us from scoring on our opening drive………we seriously need to stack the WR position.

And while we’re at it…..how about a kicker that doesn’t choke left and right. Graham needs to pack his things and leave town. Not the first time he’s choked in a big game. I’ve been there for several of his choking episodes. (*cough Dec. 31, 2006; Bengals vs. Steelers…………and shanked the ball right at me in the SW corner of the endzone!) Thanks Graham!
