Brat, Im still very angry with you! Change your ways, or go away! +

If you are watching or watched the Saints/Cards game, tell Brat that this is how you play offense, it shouldn't come down to the final drive every game, you can actually have the game in hand before the 4th quarter even begins, so Brat it was not "good enough". Brat seems to think his new style of calling the run, run, pass, punt plays (RRPP) is "good enough" to win the division, "good enough" to go ahead or tie in the fourth quarter. But I say it was not "good enough" to win a playoff game and by the way Brat, it was Benson and Leonard who mostly saved your job this year and I saw where you said not much will change in the way you call plays, im sorry sir but you have to change alot and be less predictable because that will not work vs the big 4 we play next season: Indy, Saints, Pats, Chargers, and dont forget our wonderful Division foes Pitt and Baltimore

Here was his direct quote:

"It was a different style of play for him and there were a lot of changes,” Bratkowski said. “There were a lot of new people in place at different spots ... and it was good enough for seven drives in the fourth quarter to tie or go ahead. Plus, it was good enough to win the division. Good enough decision-making not to turn it over in those tight games."

Well then maybe you shouldnt have made so many damn changes Brat, ever thought about that? you just get on my nerves with you arrogance to think you are an elite OC in this league! 95% of Cincyjungle calls your plays out before you even run them when we are in open threads during the game. I mean if we can call the plays out (RRPP) dont you think the opposing defense might know what is going on also? hmmmmmm.....

When you stack the line with 7-8 offensive linemen we know you are going to run and so do they and when Palmer audibles we know its going to be a run to the weak side and so do they. How about a little Passing out of run formations? How about a little running out of 3 and 4 WR sets? Draw plays? Screen Plays? (how many bubble screens did you see this year?) When you are only scoring 10-14 points a game that is not "good enough" you are putting way to much pressure on our defense and the injuries and fatigue showed it. When you go 3 and out 3/4 of the game you are probably pissing Zimmer off big time, because I know you are pissing us off.

It just might be your next "bossman" you are pissing off their Brat, because I think Zimmer might get the Job after Lewis' last season under contract. You always hear about Ocho being unhappy, I think the things he is unhappy with is Brat and Marvin, but you never hear Ocho say a bad thing about Zimmer.....it is always good things. After the playoff game vs the Jets Ocho was asked by a media member about the offensive playcalling and he said and I'm parphrasing "I aint saying nothing, you trying to get me in trouble." Now to me that says Brat dont know what the hell he is doing get me a new OC and all will be well with the Ocho and Bengaldom.

I have to agree with Hobson's logic on this one, just not WR in the 1st 4 rounds, but would like to get Marshall or Bryant, or even Dez Bryant...who knows:

With Zimmer back, the question isn’t falling back to the cellar, but taking the next step to win some playoff games. The onus is clearly on the offense. Specifically the passing game. The goal has to be averaging 24 points per game.
That should be Marvin Lewis’ slogan for the next training camp.
24.
Complete with a picture of Jack Bauer blowing up the passing game.
24.
Everything management and Lewis do for the next seven months should be geared to making sure they score 24 points a game. If it means signing Brandon Marshall or Antonio Bryant in free agency. Or drafting receivers in the first four rounds. Stealing the Saints playbook or trading for Anquan Boldin.
Whatever it takes.
24.
If they average 24 points per game in the third year of a Zimmer defense, they should make the AFC title game.

P.S. Shayne Graham, you better not come back to this team! You belong in the UFL where their is no pressure on you, because you cant make a kick with the game riding on it. The ones you do make to win a game are filled with allegations that it was wide right (Cleveland 2009). Go away, we can get a better kicker for cheaper. You wanted a long term deal when you cant make 2 field goals under 35 yards? (im not exactly sure on the distance but they were not long FG's) I mean a high school kicker could've done better than you on those! take your $2million dollar franchise thing and go to Orlando or Salt Lake City and mess with those girls. The chicks in Cincy know how you are already Opie.

P.P.S. How much did Carson Palmer remind you of Tony Pike in the playoff game? Not only at the end when he took the 2 sacks on his final 2 plays, but the entire game where he looked scared of the big stage? I mean do we really want this guy running our team for the next few years? He played at USC so the big stage shouldn't be a problem, right? Is he afraid of getting injured? is he still injured? All I know is something has got to give, you are getting paid more than Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Drew Brees, Joe Flacco, and Brett Favre but yet they all out-performed you by far! You cant blame it all on the WR's, you are supposed to make the WR's look good but im beginning to think that in the past Housh, Ocho, and Slim made you look good and now it's showing.......Prove me wrong.....Please I beg you!

P.P.P.S. Shannon Sharpe.....WTF is this purple velvet suit? seriously man your sitting next to Bill Cowher, Dan Marino, and self preclamed Ocho Cinco hater Boomer Esiason! Dress like a person, not a cartoon!

Final Thought:

Ha! I'm fired up, I just got this crazy feeling that Brat will not change his play-calling one bit and the phrase Run, Run, Pass, Punt (RRPP) will become commonplace all throughout next season.

Thank god Coats is a free agent, If he is re-signed i'm driving Danimal down to PBS to slap somebody ;)

Please text "HAITI" to 90999 to donate $10 to the Red Cross for the earthquake relief. it will be charged to your cell phone bill.

Now back by very, very popular demand............

And our Cincinnati Ben-Gal Pro Bowl Cheerleader SARAH.... I guess the good pic was to hot for Tv. She was just in a bikini man!!!

Jade is my favorite :)

Andrea is also worthy :)

As always the problem is Mike Brown

But we cannot do anything about it apart from boycotting.

And even that isn’t going to work. Especially if it’s done like WDR does it.

Although the fly-by plane with “Hire an OC” next year might be nice. Or better yet “Hire and OC with a brain” led by a stat on 3-and-outs or something.

by FriarBob on Jan 16, 2010 11:38 PM EST up reply actions

The big problem with WDR this year

was they let the 7-2 start fake them out. They should have kept up the pressure! It was starting to gather momentum in 2008. I think there will be another crappy start in 2010 and then the pressure will start to build again and hopefully this time fan protests won’t stop until Mike Brown either sells the team or hires a GM. HIRE A GM is more important than hire an OC. A GM would not only hire a decent OC but he wouldn’t think to solve the problem of tight ends lost for the season during week one of training camp by … doing nothing.

Hey, come on, Mike Brown did something

about the TE situation. He proposed switching some second rate defensive end to TE, thereby solving the problem. He can’t help it if his coaching staff failed to go along with the idea for the petty reason that it was totally moronic.

Ha! How petty of them. I mean, you’d think they thought they had brains or something!

My personal fave comment I saw there

Was one that said “I wanna anally rape Mike Brown with a barbed wire dildo”.

Slim 15, you will be missed. RIP Chris Henry

Jade is my favorite too. Those pink outfits are freakin hot!

I get so angry when I think about Brat.. I might need counseling. We have all posted these arguments at some point in time and until he is demoted or just plain fired its just going to get worse. Mike Brown and Brat are right below Hines Ward on the list of people I’d love to watch die.

Give'em hell Tenn,

I’m standing right behind you on this one!
and I’m not just talking about the cheerleaders…..
Fuck Brat and MB for keeping him. And not to mention there are other reasons too.

by WHYUS!! on Jan 17, 2010 12:43 AM EST reply actions

You're preaching to the choir

In the first half of the year, safeties were dropped way deep to prevent the long pass, and no discernable adjustment was made in the play-calling. In the second half, after Chris Henry’s injury, the safeties started stacking the box to respond to the run. The play calls… remained the same. Ugh.

by Mr. X on Jan 17, 2010 12:48 AM EST reply actions

Don't get me started.

Brat was working with serious limitations, this year (lack of WR depth, o-line that couldn’t pass-block, TE injuries), which should have meant getting imaginative…instead, we had all the innovation of a Michael Bay movie, with nowhere near the explosiveness.

On the subject of Dan Coats: I picture a surrealist painting entitled “Dan Coats has no hands and I must scream.”

Finally, we need hotter cheerleaders.

by Big Sky Bengal on Jan 17, 2010 1:00 AM EST reply actions

im sorry I misunderstood you at first

but he has to do something next year that is different, and when we ask for creativity, Brat that doesn’t mean freaking double reverses that almost never work with this team. Hmm How about a little wildcat? B Scott as A QB? anything to keep the defense off balance! but no! it has to be a dull easy to read offense. If it wasn’t for Benson’s tremendous talents we wouldnt have done as well as we did. Just imagine if we were able to throw all over the field, then use draw plays, establish the run, then use play action, mix it up, score alot of points, keep the defense off the field, Zimmer’s defense rested and Healthy? watch out AFC

yea it was hard to find some halfway decent Bengal Girls

we got some Fugly ones for real that I was ashamed to post, but so did some other teams.
But I didnt want to just go around the league I had to entertain with a little home flavor, Jade, Andrea, and Sarah are not bad.

Just Imagine if we had an awesome OC with Chase Coffman

we could use Coffman like Dallas Clark, Visanthe Shiancoe, Vernon Davis, Jeremy Shockey, Jason Witten, a pass Ctacher that can leap over folks like Brian Leonard. I really hope he gets more involed next year and we re-sign Kelly, Kelly could teach him alot and Coffman could could be just one more weopon for Palmer! He would have to be accounted for unlike Coats because Coats was almost always wide open, the other team didnt have to cover him because he always dropped it
