Bengals linebacker Rey Maualuga was arrested for driving under the influence early Friday morning.
Covington police arrested Maualuga around 3 a.m. Friday morning in the 600 block of Scott Street for driving under the influence.
The Bengals' 2009 stand-out rookie is charged with operating a vehicle under the influence and was also cited for careless driving.
Maualuga will be arraigned at 8:30 a.m. at Kenton County District Court.
Maualuga was the Bengals second round draft pick in 2009 and his rookie season ended in week 16 against the Kansas City Chiefs when he fractured his ankle.
