Rey Maualuga doesn't require surgery on fractured ankle
The Bengals lost Rey Maualuga for the season after fracturing his ankle against the Kansas City Chiefs. The second-round rookie racked up 80 tackles (per Bengals.com), a sack, three forced fumbles and two passes defensed. Not bad, rook.
James Walker writes that the injury won't require surgery and that "his recovery time is approximately six weeks."
Maualuga is one of several defensive starters that Cincinnati has lost this season -- one from each level on the unit; Antwan Odom on the defensive line, Maualuga at linebacker and Roy Williams at safety.

act like a f-ing pro
this is what marvin said to the players in the locker room in the preseason (on hard knocks, awesome by the way), and this is what he needs to say to them right now, the bengals are 10-6 (6-0 in the division), the jets are 9-7, that tells me that the bengals are a better team simply by numbers, well then…..they need to act like it
knock someone’s head off boys!!!
Best speech ever.
“It’s your football team, now fix it! Reach down inside and be a ****ing pro!” Loved it.
...
He was basically pleading for them to self-coach themselves because he can’t coach for shit. He’s fucking clueless.
