Pacman Jones Arrested then released...mistaken identity

If the day wasnt bad enough after the horrible loss to the Tampa Bay bucs, It is being reported that Pacman Jones has been arrested following the game. As details come into me I will pass them on to you, but it is high possiblity that Pacman Jones has played the last game as a Cincinnati Bengals and probably the last game of his career. Here is a picture that I have found and if anybody has any details please let us know. Damn what a messed up day to be a Cincy fan. The reds have toi top it off tonight.

 Update2:

Posted by Mike Florio on October 10, 2010 7:39 PM ET A rumor running rampant on Twitter and the Internet at large involves a contention that Bengals cornerback Pacman Jones was arrested after Sunday's loss to the Buccaneers.

The Bengals tell us that Pacman Jones indeed was arrested.  But the Bengals also claim that Jones has been released.

Per Bengals spokesman Jack Brennan, the police have characterized it as a case of mistaken identity.

So Pacman was indeed arrested.  But, according to the team, he was released without charges.

I swear this season just keeps getting better and better!!

Update:

Apparently the car he was driving was forced off the road and onto the sidewalk by another car. As a result Jones apparently hit a pedestrian. According to witnesses at the scene no one was injured but Jones was seen in hand cuffs and later was taken away in a Cincinnati police car.
